Alzid Prime heals....after Lord Vyemm is dead

Yeap, has happened to us as well.Is there a *surefire* way to stop Prime from healing though?  The time it happened to us we tried launching droag strikes at the magic #, and quite a few other methods, but no luck.<div></div>

Did you open the chest from Vyemm? Rumor is that if you do, Aldiz will keep healing. So kill Vyemm, kill Aldiz and after that open the chests. <div></div>

Get a GM, they will reset the encounter kill Vyemm and then hopefully fix the bug. They did for us.

We've never had Vymn do this if we take them both on together?  On the cases we did have him do it (if we'd used a coercer or leashed him), we were able to just burn him down.  An easy if boring fight, until he runs OOP or you manage to skip the heal %. <div></div>

It seems to me you folks had a rough time with Prime.  Past times with Prime, the longest we've fought him was no more than 20 minutes. That's without killing Vyemm first.  Guess it's just a stroke of luck.  The past saturday we did Labs, Vyemm was still up (not fighting us) and we downed Prime without him healing on us once.  Our tactic seems to work just pulling Prime first instead of Vyemm and take care of him first:  just get a nude ranger to pull with amazing shot while everyone is by the stairs... Vyemm or Prime will drop said ranger, Vyemm resets, Prime goes after tank, tank pulls aggro, ranger revives and gets CoH or runs to join the fray.  It's random that he wont heal, or take up to (from what i was told) 2-3 hours of trying in 30 minute increments or something of the sort.  I can't see any raid holding up that mob for longer than an hour straight. Given, you take that tactic if you have the time to spare.<div></div>

We had this happen to us a a couple of months ago or so, since then we just leave Vyemm's chest unopened and go kill Alzid, haven't had him bug since.

We loot the chest before killing Alzid. He only bugged on us once and kept healing. Just have to interrupt him at the right time and you can kill him.

Sounds like its random, we've never had him heal after killing Vyemm first. And we looted Vyemm's chest too before we engaged Alzid.We do usually take a long time in between killing Vyemm and Alzid (to do loots, people taking bio breaks, etc). Maybe this has something to do with it?<div></div>

Make sure you loot the body loot off Vyemm, this will ususally fix it. <div></div>

    Sweet mother of the god Devs approximitly 500 BILLION people have reported that Alzid prime bug fix it already.The thing that pisses me off is that if it was a bug that alowed you to solo him it would have been fixed the day after somebody found out about.   If you can use it to make the game easier its fixed instantly.   If it [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]s you over it may never get fixed.<div></div>

My guild has seen this mob drop from 15 to 11% and then heal back to 31%. Also we have gone very slowly from 15-14-13-12 -> and no healing. What we figured is that there is a random number of heals that can be basically anything. I suppose the upper limit is somewhere under 200 since I have never heard it heal more than 150 times. If Vyemm is dead and it still heals, it is bugged and the game doesn't realize Vyemm died. In these cases you just have to go through all the heals if you want to kill it. Maybe petitioning helps, but you propably could kill it during the time you wait for a GM. Last 2 times we killed these, we looted Vyemm before. Cant remember if we also rezzed the coercer, most likely we did. And Aldiz didn't heal once.<div></div>

He has only done this once in the past few months for us and we were fighting him downstairs where he spawns, we moved him out of the room and into the stairway and other room and the buff went away.
