View Full Version : West Coast Raiding Guilds?
<DIV>Although I have been able to find a couple west coast raiding guilds by going to each server's message board and wading through the guild lists, it takes forever to do so, and I am probably missing quite a few (and losing eyesight in the process). I have also done some word searches of the boards and had mixed results here as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know that the majority of raiding guilds are based on EST, but I also know you left coasters with 9-5 jobs are out there! Anyway, if someone happens to have a list or a general tip they would like to share, that would be much appreciated!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It is not my intent to make this thread just about me, but if there are any PST raiding guilds out there that raid about 5 times a week in the early evening that are looking for a raiding troub, please shoot me a PM or in-game tell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks!</DIV>

It's funny how much response this thread has gotten. I was watching this to see who replied. I figured I would chime in here for future posterities sake. As far as I can tell, NCS and D12 are the only west coast raiding guilds out there that have any kind of presence. It's pretty sad when there are only 2 worldwide! And before I decided to pursue my own guild over a year ago...there was only one! I just find it simply amazing that there are only 2 guilds out there...compared to the 1,343,540 EST based raid guilds worldwide. And when I talk about raid guilds, I'm talking about end-game, DT-clearing guilds. <div></div>
<DIV>In addition to the ones mentioned above, I also looked into Ancient Vengeance (start at 6:00 PST?) on Najena and joined Holy Might on Butcherblock.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are not many West Coast rading guilds, but they do exist.</DIV>

The Kraken has alot of west coasters (myself included). When it comes to accomodating us, I've found it best to have two "big ticket" raids on a raid night. Running instance in pairs (Lyceum, 15 minute interlude, then Lab) allows the east coasters the opportunity to duck out if we happened to go slow that night, while providing the west coast players with a new raid to log in to. <div></div>

<DIV>Paradigm on the Unrest server starts raiding at 6PM PST. We have people from all over the US. </DIV>
<DIV>Just wanted to stop by and say that there are a few more "end game" West coast raiding guilds out there. We have cleared DT and killed Cheldrak. Just because we are quiet does not mean that we don't exist. We start raids at 6pm PST.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Laara</DIV> <DIV>70 Troubador</DIV> <DIV>Ancient Vengeance</DIV> <DIV>Najena</DIV>

<P>Brute Force is west coast. We are a Qeynos only guild on Nagafen (PvP). </P> <P>Its incredibly hard to build a raid guild on a pvp server in the first place since most of the players on the server are the 'counterstrike' people. Not many raiders around. The raiders that are around are mostly east coast.</P> <P>Who knows, maybe eventually the 'raiders' in this game will have the balls to stop playing on 'Dont Hurt Me difficulty' and move to a PvP server. Half the classes and contested pvp provide so much more challenge. People on PvE servers actually carry 100+ pp on them!</P>
