I'm on a PvP server (Venekor) well, I lost my mind and decided to betray, turns out it wasn't for me and I came back to Qeynos. The problem, I lost all my Masters and AdeptIIIs in the process (I had 90% of my T6/T7 masters). So I'm broke and looking for places where I can solo to earn some cash. I've tried the harvesting thing, but that's hit and miss. Other then that I've tried the basilisks in Bonemire, and the vultaks in Barren Sky, neither were especially rewarding. So, any reccomendations? <div></div>

Doesn't seem like too bad of cash there although you might have to fend off a few other farmers.

I've always hated that aspect of betrayal, and is why I haven't done so.  I think that they should convert your scribed spells back into scrolls or books so that you can either sell them or save them in case you return to your previous class.

I generally fill 2 bags in an hour or so and make 2 plat per sell off. </P> <P>I wouldn't tell anyone except the plat farmer bots constantly have the island camped and maybe if there are more of us stealing spawns here and there they'll find  somewhere else to go.</P>

Yep, really stupid that you loose so much.

<P>As they say, hindsight is 20x20 vision.  It would seem prudent to avoid scribing any masters if you're planning to betray or delete your character.</P>

Your best bet is to do the basket quests in TT.  Get all of them and do the turn in at one time...gate to bank....rinse/repeat.  45gp per run so you can easily rack up alot of pp doing that.  Just don't do it while the freeps are raiding or setting up their raids <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Why should that be painless? Be glad they dont delevel you back to level 20 <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

It has nothing to do with having a downside or penalty. It has everything to do with coding. They simply did not want to take the time to try and convert skills and equivalents over to masters in the new skills. They didn't want ot put in all that time, code and the bugs that would have went along with it.

The reason they did so is immaterial. The fact remains that it is a 'penalty' for betryal regardless of why they did it (or dont change it).
