<DIV>I was just wondering is Venny in hos bugged for anyone else? went in there tonight as well-except a few wipes due to ninja afk's ect.- didn't have a problem <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

if you don't engage him in a specific way venekor is likely to behave very weird. i'd call it bugged, but maybe it's intentional. /shrug

Need to keep folks away from touching the walls.<div></div>

I think you can touch the wall, but if you run against it, the game thinks you went through it for a second and it makes the porting start. Might have been that, or someone wasn't in his room with the rest.

<DIV>Interesting, I guess that was it then, It looked like he started his script early gut lagging through the wall could have been setting it off as well. Thans for the info. Guild was somewhat bummed as we destroyed the hell out of the zone but venny kept bugging on us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>stay off the walls until the encounter starts -- once it starts you can move against the walls without issue.</DIV>

<P>Thanks for the info, Good to know always been able to get the encounter started right before first time we had an issue and i never thought of the game thinking we were on the other side of the wall due to lag/zone geometry.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<blockquote><hr>AlexT wrote:<div></div> <div>I was touching the wall for 99% of that encounter...</div><hr></blockquote>Yup, I can stand against the walls too, but not everyone has a powerful gaming PC with a stable high speed connection and those folks are the ones who warp around while moving (sometimes due to the fact they haven't patched their dual core cpu) and can bounce into the geometry and the game will think they've stepped outside Venekor's room. Probably operates on the same principal as using Num-Lock and running into a wall so the game thinks you've walked past it until you step back from it. Thought that bug had been fixed, but who knows.<div></div>
