I have done these zones about 100 times on my various alts since the T1-5 revamp. I have never seen one legendary or fabled chest drop. Not one. Everyone else I talk to says the same thing. Roost, tables, and poets seem to be better.

Why does everything have to be super-high? Maybe they're working as intended that you aren't supposed to get a master off them. Maybe they're XP zones, and not loot zones?

Zip, zero. 100+ runs through vault of dust, sanctorium, heroic cache. Everyone else is saying the same thing. It used to be they dropped chests like crazy. I'm not saying go back to that, but it'd be nice to get some legendary gear for the boring trudge through T6. If there's names in an instance they should have some kind of loot table. Especially if they used to in the past. I don't think its working as intended because every other tier has nameds / instances that drop loot. Why should low level T6 instances be different?

Ixnay wrote:

khufure wrote:I have done these zones about 100 times on my various alts since the T1-5 revamp. Welcome to the world of random. I'm sure a lot of people did all those zones and got crappy loot. Now Im doing T7 raid zones and getting crappy loot while some other guilds that have done it way less times are getting much better stuff. Not a lot you can do about it.

Me and some guildies have been leveling our alts and hitting those instances pretty regularly in the past 2 weeks. We have gotten 1 master chest in Sactorium (spelling?) and none in cache but have only hit cache like 2 - 3 times in the past week. While they don't seem to drop l33t stuff much it is possible to get master drops in there at least in Sact.

I came to this area on the forums to post the same things as the OP, but since he has started this already i will just add. Now, I know that there was a bug back in DoF for two or three days there that made masters drop like candy, and a fixed needed to be introduced, but this is a bit much. Most of those masters are gone from game by now, or horded away for alts. The change made to T6 Master and Legendary drop rates is really making a nice expansion, kinda bleek. I could understand Cache, Roost, Sanctorium etc having a lower drop rate to some degree, but the rate is so low now that it is not worth doing these instances except for axp. The stricked reduction in the drop rate of masters in T6 has made those that do drop rediculious to purchase. This is doubled by the fact that T6 is the only area where you can get the majority of Ancient spells. I think the redcution in the drop rate was needed, it is time to make it more on par with other tiers. Particularly Poets, since you have to do an access quest. Then once inside quest to access floors. You have to wait on doors and then do ring events inside. If a group is willing to do all this then the drop rate for masters in such a zone should be high. It is time guys, to release the iron grip on T6 and make those fun instances, which I personally really like, a rewarding experience, not just a one time zone to say you have done it.

I agree those zones mentioned are a one-stop AA hit on the names and discoveries.. Loot is so awful there doesn't seem to be any point going back to em, as for master chests you are better off going to an heroic camp and grinding for a few hours for random master drops to try find those elusive ancient scrolls.

I agree on poets, it is an annoying access quest and should have better rewards. To some degree it has good item loot (T6) so it is interesting.. But it is only higher level T6. What do we do for lower level T6? E.g., my guild has a number of paladins in it that want amends m1. Our brigands want dispatch M1. In T7 you know where to go to farm for these items. But T6 is so frustrating, people dont bother. (BTW, some may say for dispatch M1 go raid T5. But who does that these days?)Only 5 more plat for me to get every collection possible for my defiler alt (50). Then I can skip from 50 to hopefully really close to 60. That's my T6 plan .
