Why is it so hard to get the downtime posted and/or brodcasted ??????

All US Live servers will be coming down at 7:00 am PDT on Wednesday, August 16th, 2006 for a game update.  Downtime is expected to be 1 hour.And down we go 8/21 <span>:smileyindifferent:</span><div></div>

It's 10am eastern, on a Monday morning. What happens on Monday at 10am eastern in-game usually? Oh yah, a server update.

Every day it's not broadcasted people get off their rockers and get all [Removed for Content]. Just assume the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] server is going down, and if it isn't you win. If it does, you win again because you knew it was going down! Just because they thought they fixed something, doesn't mean the fix always works correctly. Welcome to the way computers work.

Welcome to the way computers work.<hr></blockquote>Regardless of whatever comments you come up with, like I said, it takes 20 seconds to update an html file on the server status page to note the Monday downtime.The only way that gets screwed up is when someone doesn't care about there job.</div>

And you know what, not long ago soe just did a chinese server merge and moved all chinese / taiwanese people to US servers. 10am EST is 10pm asian time - it's our raid time. <BR>

Here is a big tip (I am in a giving mood) do not EVER go into an instance with a lockout @ around 9am EST unless you can clear said instance in an hour.  Downtime ALWAYS (unless noted elsewhere) at 10am EST (or 7am PST, 9am CST, etc, etc, etc).<div></div>
