Halls of Seeing = No relic drops

For the second week in a row we've run through Halls of Seeing and cleared out every mob and not one piece of relic dropped anywhere in the zone.Is relic supposed to drop in HoS?  We used to see it occasionally on the boss mobs only, but it has never once dropped off any trash mob in this zone.  This doesn't make sense to me.  You will get chest after chest drop of Adept 1 spells.  Why are we seeing so many adept 1 drops and no relic at all here?Lyceum, Labs, and Deathtoll all drop relic occassionally from any mob in the zone, yet in Halls of Seeing none ever have.Is the loot table messed up in this zone?  Why do we see so many Adept 1 boxes dropping when the other zones don't do this?  It really doesn't make sense.I would love it if we could get a dev to look into the loot table in this zone and see what the deal is.<div></div>

Welcome to Halls of Seeing. Land of the "proper" itemization on relics. <P>Cleared it last night and zero relic.  None from bosses nor trash.  This is the zone that SHOULD have relic dropping from trash, you get your 6 day lockout killing the very first trash mob like it should be.</P> <P> </P>

I don't care if the relic is dropping off named as long as it drops.  To clear the entire zone 2 weeks in a row and not a single piece of relic seems wrong.Adept 1's dropping like crazy in chests also seems bugged.  I haven't seen a drop rate of Adept 1s in any other raid zone like here.  You kill some of the incredibly tough trash mobs and get an Adept 1.  Not even a master spell of any kind.  NOT ONE!It really seems like something with the loot table in this zone is messed up.<div></div>

It just means you should have a CHANCE at getting the best loot. It does not mean you should get it if you can kill it. The game's current itemization is based around loot having a random chance of dropping. Sometimes you get [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] gear, sometimes you get good gear. You wanna know how many Band of the Causes we've gotten? 1. I know a guild that has gotten around 8, and some people have accidently deleted theirs and gotten a new one. It's random. If you don't like random, just quit playing the game now.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe his guild is just good enough to have cleared these zones everytime the lockout appeared for months on end so that everyone in their guild has all the relic they would ever want and then some? Ive got news for you, some guilds are better at clearing content faster/sooner than others. They in turn get more loot so they get geared up quicker. Just because they are better at raiding than other people doesnt mean they think relic drops were appropriate. Many times I have gotten an item off a mob that was too easy to drop such a good item, but other than point out how absurd that the best items drop from easy mobs there isnt much I can do about it.The poster you quoted simply said that he much prefers the way loot/relic is done in HoS and many people agree with him. Furthermore he said that the trash mobs arent tough at all. If the trash is "tough" for your guild maybe you should be gearing up on the guild raids because they really dont pose much of a problem.

There is something to be said for a zone simply being different.  HoS is a pretty cool zone, with a variety of nameds and a couple fights that aren't a total joke.  It's got unique yard trash, which no matter how you view the difficulty, take a little more time to clear than other zones.  No relic drops from trash, but you can get some good (and not so good) legendary drops which are unique to the zone.  Different is good.  <div></div>

Yes some did but I look down on those that did it, some actually went in and got the true rewards.  The two main guilds that were on my server did the zone with their T6 fabled gear....which in T7 was easily put into bags for backup because treasured, yes treasured, was better.  Why can't you??  Why can't you all do the same instead of crying "We don't raid" "We have jobs" "We have lives"  Labs takes anyone if done right two or less hours.  Why not do the zone right and get your 6 day lock out by getting better gear instead of zoning in everyday to get something that takes no effort and is not deserved.</font><font color="#ff0000"></font><font color="#ff0000"></font><font color="#ff0000">  If you don't raid, you don't need fabled gear ....you can group and do quest with treasured, legendary, mastercrafted.  We all did, so can you.  We raided without relic, without T7 fabled, we raided with crap T6 fabled or T7 treasured and Legendary.....SO CAN YOU.</font><font color="#ff0000"></font><font color="#ff0000"></font><font color="#ff0000">  HoS is a perfect example of how itemization and risk vs reward should be.  All zones should be this way.  One day we went in Labs, not one relic dropped the whole time.....was hoping SoE finally did the right thing.....doubt it though.</font></i></b></div>

I totally agree with Adepts being replaced with coins. Adept 1s in a raid zone like this is bogus. The fact is, Deathtoll, Labs, Lyceum ALL drop relic off trash.  They all drop random masters off trash.  None of this is true for HoS.I was not the one to come in here and cry about nerfing drop rates.  I wasn't the one in here saying relic is too easy to get.  I came in asking a question about zone itemization and it is you who come in hurling insults and talking down to everyone else.I asked a question that had nothing to do with all this.  I asked if there was a problem with the loot table.  That's it.</div>

Yes HoS isnt dropping relic at all and it cool that way. At least you have to work to get you loots <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />I really dont care about relic drop in lyceum they could be removed too much trashmob that have a possibilty to drop relic before first named in comparison to the challenge. But it s kinda painfull when you get legendary from essence, playfull and demented. Not like they are hard or anything but it s annoying to get 5days20H lock out and only 1 master chest that contained 1 fabled item.
