This was a lovely zone, its hard even for a T7 raid guild not because of the dmg but because of the coordination that is required. Also, this coordination takes some practice. But now there is a lockout even on failed zone use <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> so getting this zone right just gets frustrating even tho its one of the most rewarding encounters to beat.....

<P>If you think it's difficult now, you should have tried it at level 60. It isn't difficult at all now, and can easily be two grouped by level 70s.</P> <P>This was one of my favorite encounters from DoF, and is definitely one of the most creative and original encounters ever devised. I would be very disappointed if they changed one thing about it.</P>

<DIV>As long as you have the power regen, you're fine. A decently equipped level 70 tank can do both dragons at once, and simply change targets every 5-6 seconds to keep the health totals even.</DIV>

The point is, last time I was in there, you can't revive in zone and now it has a 12 hour failure lockout. So if someone dies in a bad spot too close to a dragon or everybody dies and you can't zone someone in to revive them, then you're out of luck until tomorrow.Wow, I just remembered you have to do this zone repeatedly for the Scale of the Master as well. It'd take 1-1/2 weeks if you did it every 12 hours to get enough scales for your guild to zone in if you only killed the heroic djinn.Hooray for "consistency" in lockout timers.<div></div>

Hit up your local carpenter for repair kits if you anticipate failure.<div></div>

<DIV>The problem is you can't revive in zone, so repair kits won't help much.</DIV>

Yeah if its 12 hours just for zoning in they should probably have a revive spot inside.

The lockout on failure should be removed, mainly because some people might be just trying to get 1 last Scale for a person who missed a previous PoS raid and doesn't have 1 because they're an alt or a new recruit.Either way, the lockout shouldn't exist for failure on this zone due to the design. As for do the dragons reset, yes, but they reset in an awkward fashion, such that they are now up, instead of on the ground.

<DIV>We use a MA that isn't always a tank. Just someone good at keeping the health even. I've seen the super nova once and it doesn't wipe the raid. It's just a long fight.</DIV>

Just do the heroic guy. We got our guild 18 scaled off the heroic guy in less than an hour and then got the last 4 we needed by doing the actual dragons.</div>

Yes, the only problem is the lockout on failure. evrything else about that zone is brilliant, funny and just enough hard in a tricky way to be fun.

It would take you 9days going in every 12 hours to get 18 scales now.

Most should be able to solo the guy and those who cant can duo it. Should take less than 2 even if they added a l/o to it.<div></div>

When SoE was doing the lockouts they didn't bother to look at any of the zones, they just tossed the lockouts on them. Did you know, some zones never trigger the success lockout? I mean think about it, now you can go into a zone once every 12 hours and clear it, because SoE didn't bother to look at them.

There were a lot of lockouts added on failure that seem odd because there is just one encounter inside. Antechamber of fate and pedestal. We've had no problem in antechamber since the change, but I can imagine its very annoying to guilds trying to learn the encounter. But atleast you can revive inside, the pedestal just seems broken.<div></div>
