<DIV>In most places lights disappear into the ceiling, rugs into floors, sconces into walls. Pets won't move off the 1st floor, even if you put them someplace else they just go back.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There's texture mistakes all over the place, in what appears to be a flat surface part of the wall will overlap a painting for no apparent reason. There's also a hole in the floor at the base of the basement steps, which I keep falling through as I go up or down them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <DIV>How exactly did halls pass beta testing? Were they even tested at all? There's whole rooms where the ceiling is unusable or an entire wall is bugged.</DIV></DIV><p>Message Edited by ZenTouma on <span class=date_text>08-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:49 AM</span>

<DIV>Qeynos halls are no better. I don't understand how they passed QA when you can't hang a light pretty much ANYWHERE in the house. If you try it just goes away into oblivion and you have to use the access panel to retrieve it. Just hope you didn't use an alt to place it or you're screwed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My new favorite is when you do find a half a foot tiny spot where you can hang them, the lights disappear depending on where you stand in the house. Two feet from it and it's not there, move far away and it pops back into existance.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There's no way they even tried to place one thing in the house before they made the code live.</DIV><p>Message Edited by ZenTouma on <span class=date_text>08-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:53 AM</span>

This really is irritating. Most house items aren't too bad, but chandeliers are the worst. They are very difficult to place at all and if you do place them most the time they will disappear. Worst thing is that housing has been that way since day 1. I realize housing is mostly just "fluff" content, but come on guys... let's fix this stuff already.

<P>It's just glaringly bad coding, and the fact it's not been fixed is amazing. Live known and buggy code that's left untouched like that would not be acceptable in any other circumstance.</P> <P>Right now I'm screwed because I used a temp alt to move items into the house, and a few of them are lost inside the walls. I can't yank them back using the access menu because I didn't place them (if you don't place them you can't pick them up from the menu, even for normal crafted items). However if I could click on them I could pick it up and do whatever I wanted with it. So now somewhere in my walls and ceilings are items which count against my total that I can not retrieve.</P> <P>It's not just the halls either, the 3 roomers in Qeynos are the same on the bottom floor, can't hang a single thing from the ceiling or it just poofs away into nothingness.</P><p>Message Edited by ZenTouma on <span class=date_text>08-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:41 PM</span>

It's because they don't have beta testing.
