Ancient Cave in the Feerrott?

<DIV>- Danak Dhorentath and the minions of Fear have excavated an ancient cave in the Feerrott, near the Temple of Cazic-Thule. Even the bravest adventurer may gasp when setting eyes upon the terrors within this long-lost cavern.</DIV> <DIV> <HR> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sooo...what's the deal in there?  Anybody got any idears on the lvl or recommended group size for this sucker?</DIV> <DIV>I'd log on and check for myself...but the IT guy here at work won't let me install EQ2...stoopid IT guy.</DIV>

I know they do =/all it is, is the area the evil alignment gets thier fear quest and cool place to check out once for everyone else cause it has the cool portal in it.<div></div>

<P>Well the house item does put an hourlong buff on you - 5% chance to fear things that hit you for 10 seconds.  Might be useful for somebody. </P> <P>I thought maybe you need to have the buff on to zone thru the portal and came back from my house after the ' examine dagger item once it's placed in your house for more"  bit - nothing , the portal  just teleports you back 40 feet. </P> <P>Seems like a dead-end  ..... for now. </P> <P>The cave has l45ish solo mobs around you could kill - so it might be fun if you are the right level and near cazic waiting on groupmates to arrive. </P> <P>The furniture reward is quite cool looking. </P>

The portal will almost surely become active in Echoes of Faydwer after some questing, as the entrance to the Plane of Fear.
