Bloodbeast Dismember

<DIV>we're doing ok with bloodbeast through the toss, stun and the blur. but the 13-14k dismembers here and there are causing problems. with 7k mit and debuffed still one-shotted. doesn't seem to be coming off sometihng curable (haven't seen anything on me when i get nailed). is there any way to negate it, or do you just got to suck it up and hope to not get critted?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I have a theory and it somewhat coincides with what Wabit posted.Basically my theory is that dismember periodically chews through your pants, and the minute your pants break, you lose the ability to mitigate damage from that dismember.<div></div>

The stomp aoe does no damage at all to any piece of armor. It's his dismember attack, and unless you're incredibly unlucky, a single pair of pants can make it through the entire fight if you start them out at 100% durability. Infact, last time we fought him, I got a lucky streak on him and resisted all but 1 of the damage effects to my pants.<div></div>

Only time i've seen him 1 shot anyone is when they have pants ON not off.  We fight him with the power of no pants and only people that get 1 shotted are casters if he does it right after a mem wipe or somethin.<div></div>

I got aggro one memblur a few weeks ago and ended up taking him for about 20 seconds (nobody had rescue up and apparently he reallllly didn't like mark going off immediately after memblur) until he nailed me for about 13k with dismember. My pants just took the regular 10% from that death tho so either the pants dmg is separate from the dmg portion or its not dismember that eats the pants.</DIV>
