Considering i read the top npc kills for each server everyday nobody has been trying her all that often. Occasionaly she will hit a 20 to 40 kills in a day on a server, but thats like 2 tries tops. Nothing special.

<P>Yeah this fight is boring for the first two fights and then depending on "luck" is how long you get to fight the Matron.  I really hate having the word "luck" go along with any mob.  Most mobs do take some type of skill or coordination to beat it and this mob atm is basically all "luck".  </P> <P>I use the word "luck" when other guilds have been in a zone 1-3 times and seen the best loot drop from that instance and other guilds go in there 100 x and have only seen the best items once maybe twice.  Telling that story makes me sad :smileysad:</P>

<div></div>I think this thread is about the vikings. The vikings have a decent team.  but winning the division isn't going to be easy, which doesn't say alot since it is by far the worst division in football at the moment.   That coach that blew all those playoff appearances for the vikings.  well lets just say Schmoogles holds him near to his heart, which one moved to arizona first, schmoogles you or Denny?Childress will do a decent job coaching a decent team.  If they manage to win the division, which is most likely the only way they will make it to the post season, I predict the win there wild card game and gracefully bow out during the second round.Keys to the vikings woes this season will be a maligned running game. and inconsistency at the reciever possition.  The Vikings have swung from being one of the most dominating offenses with an almost pathetic defense to a Top tier defense(while certainly not proven to be one of the best)  with a less then adequate offense.  If a running back steps up and is able to carry the ball 300+ times and average close to 4 yards a carry, and the vikings recievers show they can hold on to the ball, they could potential vie for one of the best records in the NFC.   But quite honestly that is asking alot.And yes this is coming from a die-hard vikings fan. my prediction : 10-6 (4-2 in division)  NFC North champions.  Loose in the second round of the playoffs to Seatle (24-17).(EDIT)Ok i will add some stuff about the matron since the thread is  about that too.She is hard(and she should be)  the encounter is interesting, but i can't say it is all that fun.    Luck, however, interesting when it goes your way.  when it goes against you more times than not, it stops being just luck and starts becoming poor design.   I really can't wait to beat her like a rented mule(sorry i am not a PETA nut)<div></div><p>Message Edited by MexStrat on <span class=date_text>08-05-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:55 AM</span>

Buffalo had a terrible draft. They wasted their picks on people that would have been around a LOT later. I honestly had no idea what they were doing.It is surprising how many MN/MN fans there are around here though. I know Moorgard is from MN and has posted about the vikings before.

It's funny how many people I have ran into from Minnesota.  I was in Monolith a while back and a few people were from MN and EC has a few people from Minnesota also.  We probably got hooked on EQ since it was so cold outside in the winter we have nothing else to do.  (I do miss my snowmobile) Here for me now in Arizona it's so hot outside I really don't even want to go outside atm. hehe
