k so, i understand killing the first 2 mobs and all is required, but can we get like a 50% chance to drop NOZONE token that drops to just spawn the matron? or, have it 100% drop even so you have to kill the first 2 mobs every other time.does anyone enjoy killing the first 2 every time?elf, please don't lock this thread if it stays on topic.....

it sucks to kill the 2 warm up mobs over and over again, but probably supposed to be one of the difficulty factors that you cant "traditionally" pull the matron, since she will be going for the raid anyway without leaving some downtime after 2nd warmup is dead

i dont think there is any method that could substitute this lovely timesink, since the dev intention obviously is to make people fall asleep by the time the matron pops, so they get owned by it fast because they cant keep their eyes open

please stay on topic... this is about matron and not death coordination.. I really like the idea of the no-zone items to skip the first two waves, but I think its missing the issue. I really like the idea of a 3 wave contested, and I'd prefer it stay that way. Id rather they significantly upped the difficulty of the first two waves, and dropped the matrons down just a little. Having three difficult mobs would be very fun. It should NOT be 2 easier mobs than 1 harder mob because people will get bored and just wipe over and over and have to restart. The third mob should be on par or the slightest bid harder than the first 2. my2c

i agree with snark

dont make 2 mobs that are a joke followed by one mob that is just out of control

balance the whole thing out, it would be just as hard of an encounter if it built up than just having one smash your face out mob

cuz as it is you can basicly just auto attack the first two mobs to death, ZZzzZzz then all of the sudden BLAM you got the matron, and if that goes poorly you get to start over

just doesnt realy make sense to me-

Agree with Snark, one of the coolest parts about some of the raids in WoW is that they have multiple stages, and each stage is almost like fighting a different mob and needs new strats, It would be really cool to have to master all 3 stages of a mob before finally being able to kill it.

/agree with snark

In fact, id like to see MORE events like this......just with the 3 mobs being somewhat equal in difficulty, or if they get only slightly harder each time

Before someone says it, YES snarks is proposing the first 2 waves are made significanly harder, but the matron a little less extreme.Yes, this is a good idea because the first 2 waves are jokes. If you cant beat the first two waves you suck, so dont waste your time on this thread.

three even fights is something i deffinately agree with. buuut i was just saying untill then having the second mob drop some kind of no zone item would only let you skip the first 2 50% of the time. so if it was a 25% chance to drop that would be very cool becuase i don't see them re-working the whole encounter anytime soon =

You guys know Snark's 15 years old and just got his learners permit right? Just an FYI. See alot of "grown ups" agreeing with him here. But seriously I've always wanted to play a game with some outspoken guild leader that everyone respects and then find out he's 10..lol
