our guild is in lab of lord vyemm atm and cant do anything since about 15 minutes now, everything has 5-6 MINUTES delay, probably serverwide, this is just getting worse and worse since the last LU

Half of us are now LD, according to someone who's not in zone we all still show up on the guild window. Been told I have an active character when trying to log in for the last 10 minutes. This sort of thing happens all the time on Splitpaw.

Been in there for around 20mins now with no movement. some ppl tried relogging but their chars are still stuck in there. Atleast u can explore all of the zone now with ur char stuck in lagvortex. Pauzze

I am From the netherlands, but my chat-lag is atleast 20 min atm, same for spells, but can walk freely to the zone, I cannot see ay mob up atm due to the lag as well,

I keep reading chat from the level-chatrooms, and none mentioned lag so far, 1 other guild/raid say something about lag in the same zone as well.

No Server reboot for 2-3 days does stupid things like this to the servers. I just never understood why not just reboot the servers once a day as a stop-gap solution till these problems don't occur.

*** Gameplay ***- A speculative fix has been made that should reduce the incidences of lag spikes that have been occurring since Game Update #25. it did'nt work guys....getting a little annoying when it's day in day out.

I wouldn't have thought there would actually be a whole HoF map behind that gate at the start of labs hehe..

Too bad EVERYTHING in the zone (doors, clickies, zone-out point!, mobs) is just not there or I could've finished a claymore quest

I can't type, can't /camp (can use /exit, but will be unable to log in for the next 30 minutes to an hour). Nice server..

Because the entire zone is shared with the heroic instance and the MoA instances. Pretty nifty eh?

Gyilok wrote:

some dev/gm/tsr please pop onto splitpaw server and crash the lab of lord vyemm, shouldnt be hard

TSR says Unfortunately I cannot do that from here. I will be forwarding your request. Unfortunately I do not have any ETA for the characters to get booted. Sit on tight and wait for the next server reset (should be at next patch) will be all ok again. Pauzze

This is a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing joke, Evolution was just starting the zone when the lag kicked in. Our MT had a lucky escape and went LD after the first pull so we decided to let Lord Wildorf the Holy show us howe a Paladin tanks *snicker*. All we ended up doing is showing that the mere though of a Paladin tanking is enough to force the universe to implode, slowing down time as the destruction escalates. Ironically i was expecting him to die so i have a beautiful 3.5GB Fraps recording of the the fight very quickly becoming a lag fest followed by a very slow 12mins of no-one able to do anything as we wiped. This is [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing ridiculous, what in the hell could cause a zone to lag out to such an extreme. 4 hours later and both my characters are still apparently logged in, can't file a petition because A) It wouldn't respond at the time, and B) I can no longer log in.The worst part is that it ruined an entire evening and obviously that of other guilds too, and the best info we get back is to delete our UI .ini files... ... ... Gee thank you so much. :smileymad:

I find using that .exe incredibly useful, i just make sure i patch first then close the launcher and run the shortcut i have for EverQuest2.exe for the rest of the day. Everytime you log to character select you have to enter your username and password again but it's useful when switching between characters on different accounts, and skipping that irritatingly slow patcher when you know you don't need to see it. :smileyvery-happy:

atleast this would explain why some of the contested were still up and not downed an hour or so after pop by fable :p can we just get devs to lock you in there? (joking, sorry to hear such bad problems going on)

When I went to bed at 2am, my account was still "in use", despite having exited the game, relogged, rebooted the PC, everything. I am expecting that a server reboot should fix it, but 7 hours lagged out and stuck in a zone? On the plus side, since we'd only just started we've incurred the 6 hour lockout rather than the 6 day one. This at least, is something of a comfort.
