<DIV>For the past few days I've been trying to get a hold of a level 44 advanced jeweler book, and noticed there is (at least on my Server) an inordinately small amount of level 44 books on the market (both for level 44 craft books and adepts)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now the crutch here seems to be that there aren't very many level 44 monsters around any of the zones that I frequent...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now I haven't thouroughly checked around feerrott, but no soloable monsters of exactly level 44 come to mind.</DIV> <DIV>Any suggestions?</DIV>

Everfrost has many level 44 mobs, both solo and heroic. Bighorn sheep, antelope, skeletons, wolves, spiders, resonating echos, constructs near the menagerie. I think some numbfoots are also 44. And there are many level 44 hunters on the long path west of the dock.In Lavastorm there are some level 44 mobs in the two goblin fields, both soloable and heroic. Lizards and goblins and lava blobs and a few centipedes.Other good places to find level 44 mobs -- Upper area of Cazic Thule- 2nd floor of Obelisk of Lost Souls- Most of the Drafling Tower is 44 (a good spot)- Also Splitpaw if you are in your 40's.

<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div>actually, none of the goblins, centipedes or anything soloable in the first part of lavastorm is level 44, they are 41, 42, some 43, and lots of 45. None 44.In everfrost a small number of resonating echos, skeletons and constructs (heroic) are 44.All of the solo hunters in the other half are level 45, the heroics are 41 or 42, the same goes for the icewolfs in the same area.Sheep, and frosthorns are all either 42,43 for heroic, 46 and 47 for solos.Careful study of feerrott yielded only a handful of 44 mobs. only mobs near CT are past 40 in any case.Lavastorm has no level 44 monsters whatsoever. The 3 dungeons aren't much of an option, since the thesis was based mostly on soloable monsters, but I'm willing to entertain heroics.I can't check out drafling or obelisk myself, but as far as I know those places arent popular aside from doing the quests that involve them (so little to no impact on loot availability)BTW the point wasn't that level 44 mobs dont exist, just the relative rarety of them.<p>Message Edited by ReilenBlaeyze on <span class=date_text>07-24-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:29 PM</span>

I apologize, I missed that you were talking about solo specifically. If you are looking for a place to solo at 44, I would say Splitpaw is your best place, since the loot there will match your level.Drafling Tower - I can't stress enough what a great place it is for level 44 mobs. The bulk of it is exactly level 44, with a few 43 at the front and a few 45 at the bottom. I was soloing there at 51 with non-raid gear, so your higher level character(s) should be able to do it.I admit that I haven't been in Everfrost in a while, but the valley past the hunters does have some level 44 mobs: hatchlings, sheep, and maidens. And Icespire Summit instance is partially level 44 mobs.As mentioned, the 2nd floor of Obelisk is almost entirely level 44, with a few L43 mobs mixed in.
