<DIV> <DIV>HOLY WHOA </DIV> <DIV>Ok we just tried to kill harla dar in her new instance, i  understand drakes and wurms pop in 30 min and droags pop in 20,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We killed everything upstairs jumped down, killed all the drakes then all the droags, </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i was watching the parcer, there was never a moment raid dps slipped below 9500 dps</DIV> <DIV>there was never a moment when we werent hitting something (we had a poor defiler pet sacraficing himself for pulls)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and we still couldnt keep those adds down.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>we tried pulling 4 drakes at once to start and burn them all down to red then toast them all, we were yelling the whole time to keep pwr and health up to max.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and we still couldnt keep those adds down.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>by the time we got all the botom mobs down and got back to harla 3 drakes had already spawned upstairs</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>is there some mystical way to keep these [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] adds down that im missing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I mean theres no way in hell to do it without yelling and id doubt that SOE would make a raid zone where breaking encounters to cheat the system would be the only way to even get close to winning. ( at least i think they dont like people manipulating the system)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What are we doing wrong?</DIV> <DIV>we did everything posted here and it felt right but still</DIV> <DIV>and we still couldnt keep those adds down.</DIV> <DIV>anyone elses think those adds spawn suspiciously fast?</DIV></DIV>

The only advice I can give you here is to increase your dps - try altering your group setup to maximise it.

We kill center level drakes/dragons, then upper level drakes, then droags and usually have tons of time to spare even when our dps is lacking.<div></div>

the drakes on the upper floor have a 20 minute respawn timer, too.Would make sense to pull them last, together with the droags.

<div></div>We have never had a problem doing it this way: Kill bottom Drakes and Lizards, then bottom Droags, then top drakes, then fight her upstairs.  This is with 2 tanks pulling so the next mob is getting pulled when the current is in the orange.   Important point: pull as much as you can handle before you kill the first mob and try and drop the first few encounters at the same time.  Make sure your tanks DO NOT grab a droag lol, if they do, just carry it around for awhile before killing it.  Make sure you move in a steady circle beginning and ending at the up ramp to minimize travel time. We yell the encounters too, and pull Harla within 3 seconds of the last drake dying. If you can pull Harla within 20-22 minutes of when the first mob died it's no prob at all.  <div></div><p>Message Edited by Caetrel on <span class=date_text>06-09-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:44 AM</span>

<P>i like killing all 6 of the top drakes at once to start (saves time going around harla when the timer is running)...  we beat the preinstanced harla with 9 healers and 5 tanks without much difficulty...  just keep the dps up, makesure the mages and healers aren't autoattacking and /yell everything...  oh don't forget drinks, power poisons, and power totems (makes a big difference)...</P>

Run your raid around the lower area and engage and kill the drakota/lizards where they spawn.  Don't pull mobs, run to to them.  Once you clear them all, make another circle on the same floor and kill the Droag.  Again, don't pull them, run to them and kill them.  Now go upstairs and do the same thing.  You'll end up on one of the sides of Harla.  Pull Harla to there and kill her.  You only need to maintain about 6k raid DPS doing it this way to have enough time.

<P>Lol [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] I could have sworn the respawn used to be lower.  I never paid attention enough to notice some have longer respawns too.  Has this always been this way or did this get dumbed down to this level?</P>

I think the respawns he has written may be right, I know it used to be 20 mins I wanna say for most, if not all of the mobs - the only thing Ive noticed is it seems they have definately nerfed the hitpoints of the adds, not positive though.<div></div>

<DIV>well the respawns for the drakes on the lower level have been 30 minutes for a long time, 20 minutes for everything else, has been this way since the split the instance i beleive.</DIV>

We just run around the bottom killing everything that's not a droag, then run around killing the droags, then kill the drakes at the top, then pull Harla to the bottom of the stairs.  Never had less than 8-9 mins spare, which is plenty of time to get her down.  We don't even bother towing stuff around to do anything fancy, just mow it down.We use 2 tanks at the bottom to always have something ready to be killed, and yell everything while we're fighting it just to keep mana/dps up.  Really it shouldn't be too much of a problem.Dd<div></div>

<DIV>Yeah but why would SoE deliberatly make a fight in wich you have to manipulate the system to conserve power.</DIV> <DIV>I mean if they made it so not matter what if you were in combat mode whether you yell or not you still have combat regen then there would be no way in hell to kill harla dar. Your mana a regen would be way to small for dps and healers to kill everything within 25 min.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think theres something were missing. Unless SoE is deliberetly telling us to cheat to win, and i thought you get banned for that.</DIV>

<div><blockquote><hr>Mr. Dawkins wrote:<div>I think theres something were missing. <DIV>It's perfect possible to win the fight without yelling anything like we do, cause it smells to cheating. Anyway, just need enough dps and heck they even nerfed it after they instanced it. You have alot of time to get it down and need only about 10k dps/ add to get it down. Even a well build pick up raid can have that kind of dps.</DIV>
