<DIV>I was wondering if there was a source that listed key mobs that mark milestones in a guild's progression. In Everquest, there were certain mobs that, when killed, marked a guilds' mastery of certain content or even finishing an expansion. Anyone know what mobs might be considered for a list like that?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance!</DIV>

That's the progression, that being there isn't any in this game.

<DIV>Could say Vox/Nagalik/Darathar for T5 - Blackqueen/Godking/Plane of Scale for T-6 and MO/Princes/Hurricanus/Tarinax for T-7</DIV>

<DIV>As far as T7 goes, I'd rank the difficulty of the raid mobs like this, getting harder as you go down.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haraghur the Deathless</DIV> <DIV>Cube mobs on Ravasect Isle/Ghazi</DIV> <DIV>Harla Dar</DIV> <DIV>Vilucidae (Lyceum)</DIV> <DIV>Gorenaire</DIV> <DIV>Talendor</DIV> <DIV>Lord Vyemm</DIV> <DIV>Hurricanus the Patriarch</DIV> <DIV>Venekor (Halls of Seeing)</DIV> <DIV>Tarinax (Deathtoll)</DIV> <DIV>The three princes</DIV> <DIV>Cruor Alluvium (Deathtoll)</DIV> <DIV>Mutagenic Outcast</DIV> <DIV>O'Kzat the Revisor (Halls of Seeing)</DIV>

<DIV>mob difficulty in EQ2 can vary quite a bit from one guild to another -- some encounters are made trivial with the right setup, others are easy regardless of the setup.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For example, if you don't have a brawler in your guild, you can put the 3 princes as the hardest encounter in the game. The MO doesn't require a brawler at all, so in that scenario, its an easier encounter.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would also rank Talendor harder than Vyemm -- simply because its harder to get 24 people to listen and dodge ae's than it is to tell 24 people to just dps as much as you want and stand next to the mob.</DIV>

<P>Thanks for the replies, this is a terrific list.</P> <P> </P> <P>Another question -- can you still do lower level raid content if it becomes greyed out to you? Could you do it by mentoring if not by regular level? How does that work?</P>

<DIV>When I say Venekor I really mean the entire Halls zone. On the actual Venekor fight the bugs are half the difficulty really. We've always done it first pull, but I've heard of lots of people having problems. But I definitely got it the wrong way around though, Hurri is harder.</DIV>

It isn't just a brawler that is critical. It's having one brawler, one crusader, and one warrior that is critical. Despite the attitude, I appreciate the answer.<BR>
