<div>Finally got sets of symbols needed to spawn the dragons in ascent, howevver after our raid force spends some time getting to the floor, we find 'the time is not right' to spawn them. Another guild on the server that already had deathtoll access already did so, but thats not the problem.</div><div> </div><div>Being in a non American guild (that is, our peak playing times are 16-18hrs after server reset), and because a dragon can only be spawned once per server reset, there is significant opportunity for American/Euro guilds to always get the spawn before Asian/Australian guilds.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>My point is: when there are multiple American / Euro guilds farming eyes, eachh with the aim of spawning the dragon for their deathtoll access quest, where does that leave Australian / Asian guilds? </div>
<div></div><p>The WHOLE zone is just a mess, its hte worst raid zone i have ever seen in my 8 years of playing MMO's, its not fun, its not challanging and its certainly not a good idea.</p><p>The whole thing about the server reset is a bug and it might get fixed when Zliten gets around to it...like everything else he might get around to in the zone.</p>

<DIV>Which server would this be? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I believed most Aussie guilds were on Najena. If it is Najena we are talking about, afaik there's only one raid capable Euro only guild on there - so there won't be much competition from that quarter. And until recently I *think* Blood Tradition were the only major Asian force. Maybe some of the newly arrived guilds might start to challenge in the future but they haven't left DoF yet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is there another server with a large number of Aussie guilds? I can understand there are two servers other than Najena with a large Asian population now but not Aussie.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mirdo.</DIV>

It COULD have been a neat zone, but everything possible that could've made it hell did happen:1) Messed up respawn timers. (1st/2nd floor mobs fixed, but I still think effigies are too rare.)2) Mobs with a billion hit points.3) The x4 dragon being summoned based on last time the server reset.<div></div>Why is it that the rule with EQ2 is 'contested mob' = cool, 'contested item drop' = cool, but 'contested raid zone' = steaming pile of #$@$...?Every contested mob/item follows that it is a greater challenge for a greater reward. Every contested zone is the complete opposite: no challenge, no reward, and you're forced into it for some reason (eyes, quest, etc.)I mean if the developers think the effigies drop such "phat lewtz" that they have to respawn only once a day on top of needing items to spawn them, then we're playing a different game from them.
