<div></div>I would love to see some instanced zones in future expansions that bend the mechanics of the game. What do you guys think of these? Do you have any suggestions of your own?<p><b>Modified Mechanics:</b></p><ul><li>Power regen and power regen items are disabled. There are fountains littered around the zone to give the player full power.<b></b></li><li>Heals and DPS are reversed. Any damage you do to a locked encounter heals your party; any heals damage the locked encounter.<b></b></li><li>One member of the party at a time is stunned at all times. Each member takes a turn for 2 minutes and then it loops around.<b></b></li><li>10 second zone-wide AE dmg proc, which hits mobs too. All mobs are healers. <b></b></li><li>Naked instance. All str is reduced to zero, forcing the party to fight naked.<b></b></li><li>No nuke instance. Mobs are 100% resistant to any direct damage spells.<b></b></li><li>Melee only zone. No spells of any kind are allowed, but there are single session class specifc weapons provided. Healers have a weapon that procs heals, etc. Weapons despawn on exit.<b></b></li></ul><b></b><b>Environment:</b><ul><li>Underwater<b></b></li><li>Zero light source instance, or where the only light sources are the mobs you kill.<b></b></li><li>Low gravity instance. You have to land long platform jumps to advance.<b></b></li><li>Maze instance. The zone has a general layout, but every time you zone in random walls/doors are permanently locked, meaning the maze is different every time.<b></b></li><li>No chat instance. Group chat/say/ooc etc are either disallowed or garbled.</li><li>Have to fight on narrow walkways besides endless pits. Mobs have knock-back. If you get knocked back you can try to hit teleportation circles on your way down to get transported back to the fight.</li></ul><p> <b>Miscellaneous:</b></p><ul><li>Each named in a zone is a heroic version of a random member of your party, computer controlled. That player is stunned for the duration of the encounter.</li><li>Escort instances. Chests are already up when you zone. A npc is at the start. Once you talk to him, he starts walking to the first chest to unlock it. You have to keep him alive until he gets there.</li><li>Goal of the zone is to have everyone in the party dead at the same time. Zone procs a mandatory revive/full heal every 30 seconds. Half the mobs proc a group heal, half proc group dmg. You have to agro a bunch of them and weed out the healers to wipe.</li><li>Mobs are stationary, but then can pull you towards them. At close range they do massive melee damage.</li></ul><div></div>

Healers are short anyway, imagine needing a group of full healers?</font></li><li>One member of the party at a time is stunned at all times.
