Nek Castle loot nerf?

<div></div>I used to run Nek Castle alot. Its challenging, great xp and used to be a fairly decent chance at good loot. Started at it again with my newest character. Now the loot seems terrible! Did this zone get a serious nerf at some point? Or am I just having bad luck? Don't ever remember it being this bad.The best 1-shot quests:Aroma of the Undead - wood chest 13 out of 13 times.Marble quest - wood chest 16 out of 18 times. 1 master, 1 legendaryHaven't kept track of sisters, but I have never got a master off them so far. Couple Legendarys, rest all wood with horrible, horrible loot. Everling same thing, no masters, maybe 3 or 4 Legendarys with 1 rare and rest crap items. Barely any wood chests at all off anything else in the zone. The named bugs in the basement sometimes won't drop anything at all now!I think this zone should be restored to how it used to be, where you had a much better chance at getting decent loot. It should be the next zone to have its loot upgraded, a la Fallen Gate and Runnyeye.

<div></div>Aroma got nerfed a LONG time ago.  Used to be 50% chance of a master, now, never.  Don't know why really since it was not repeatable.

Nek Castle has NEVER been very good for loot, unless you got lucky.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Legendary IS good.</p><p>Just because your are spoiled with huge amounts of master chests in Runnyeye that doesnt mean it have todrop like candy everywhere.</p><p>Nektulos Castle is used for heritage quests. Do them for great "loot".</p><p>Haddens Earing and A missing mask.</p><p>Look them up on eq2.ogaming.com</p>

I've played since launch and have done the heritage quests you speak of many more times than I'd like to count. I can do them from memory, no cheaty walkthrough websites required.To those saying the loot was never good, we must have played at different times. It used to be rare that at least one of the sisters didn't drop a master, sometimes up to 3 of them. Aroma was pretty much a 1 time master chest, although wood did drop occasionally. The marble quest chance of master was high. Again, it was a 1 time quest so didn't matter so much. The named bugs had a very good chance of dropping metal, and to get a wood chest with nothing but a pair of lame cloth mittens off Everling was very rare.This is one of the best instanced zones in the game. Its fun and its difficulty (at appropriate levels) should be rewarded.</span><div></div>

Just duo'ed this last night with a pair of level 40'sDidn't do missing mask or Aroma yet (although I picked them both up).  2 legendary chests, one off of Everling himself, and one off the sisters in the NE tower (the one where the pair of ^^^ and ^^ fight together)Only thing legedary was a piece of Severed Oak and Oak Roots.  I haven't seen a master in here in a long time, yeah Aroma was good but half the time we could never get that slime to spawn in the basement wine racks (clicked all of them, wouldnt spawn) so our Aroma progress was halted until we came back.  And then it would have this weird habit of dropping 4 shields if I remember - dunno, been a long time.I'll probably go back in to do these two quests, although I might get ghoulbane to this point and maybe start Tarton's wheel just so that I dont have to go in there again.  I'm guessing because this zone isn't "contested" like Runnyeye is, the loot isn't as good.Good news is, I never once got stuck in combat!  Man it used to get so annoying, especially in this zone.  Guesing that Archfiend had something to do with it.agressivUnrest Server<div></div>
