Fix your UI first, I bet that would help.<div></div>

<div></div>Each of the city zones have a bunch on NPC that wander but lately I have noticed, in the Qeynos zones anyway, several seem to end up in a clump and stay there.  Looks like that happened in this screenshot as well.

West Freeport has nowhere NEAR the lag Qeynos Harbor has.  I couldn't even begin to speculate except maybe there are just less people there.<div></div>

Has anybody commented yet on how the OP's UI is horribly cluttered? :robottongue:

I was thinking that too Darammer.....is there something wrong with their UI?  Has anyone suggested anything about that?<div></div>

<div></div>With your UI in its current state one cannot take a clutter post seriously .:smileywink:

Quackers. That was my gravest fear when I heard of their plans.

<div></div><p>Good Lord! What is going on in the UI. Why is it like that? Can we get a drop in from the original poster? Hopefully, they were just playing around [Removed for Content] it when they took the screenshot and it is not really like that.</p><p>eq2.interface.com Even the original interface is better than the monstrosity you have there.</p><p>Elbryan66 RangerEverfrost</p>

<div>Actually I get no lag in WFP. EFP on the other hand I always have issues with lag. Especially when I come down or up the ramp. EFP is the only zone when my screen will actually freeze for a  few seconds do to the lag. If any Zone needs to have clutter removed, it's EFP.</div><div> </div><div>I really hope that UI was a joke, or you were just moving things around when you took the Screen shot. I could not imagine playing like that.</div>

Quackers. Freeport.4 - The Fence is -right under- the statue of Antonia and they had already said the brokers and fences are more complex because of the way they have to handle dynamic displays and they've made them even more complex by adding more conveniences for us.  (Conversely, the Fence in E. Freeport is on an island a bit away from the dock area)5 - The Broker is just around the bend from the Fence, while still in the same crowded area.6 - The bells are clustered not far from the statue and fence.7 - The Sinking Sands carpet is just behind the wall from the Antonia statue. (Conversely, the carpet in E. Freeport is on the other dock from the bells, closer to the Broker, but even spaced a ways from him.8 - The only "saving" grace in Qeynos Harbour is that the inn rooms aren't also clustered in the same small area, but are spaced a bit away. (Conversely, the inn rooms in E Freeport are in the middle of the dock area but with lots of open space between it and the bells, the fence, the broker, etc)Stylistically and visually, Qeynos Harbor is put together great and looks like a cluttered harbour.  However, for the mechanics of the stuff they have there.. geeeesh.. it's horrid (but it -has- gotten better).  It's not the number of players since I have been in QH when it's 100% empty (except me) and had the same lag (even on a different server).Stylistically and visually, E. Freeport is put together great and looks like a seedy decrepit harbour of a decaying city.  Mechanics-wise it is also well put together without having all the heavy hit NPC scripts clustered in a relatively small space.</span></div>

<div></div>The UI kind of looks like a new UI right after you load it for the first time, you know, before you actually arrange the windows.

As I said I have no issues with lag in any other zone except EFP. Only other place I had issues like this was in SoS, but than again everyone is having issues in that zones because of a possible memory leak in there.
