Dragon in SoS

For ye who don't know, at the top of the gorg pit, above where Gylton spawns, pops a few little 67x2 "a drakota worshippers".  Killing all four of these (easily doable with one group; ours actually took 2 at once due to one wandering), pops a dragon in the middle platform.  Green fellow, 67x2, Lord of the Sanctum.Saw him for the first time tonight, assembled 2 groups (avg. level 67, in T6 Fabled/T7 legendaries), and give him a shot.  Man, was it painful.Melee, not so bad -- I saw 4500 max on clothies.  Punt -- not so bad, just have him cornered properly.  The problem: his AEs.  He has the same Wing Buffet AE stun and knockback that the PoA dragons have, which is rough but beatable, and also a ridiculous AE lightning breath, that has knockback and hit me consistently (with about 3.5kmagic resist) for 8-9k damage.  The breath is AE, and the range seems to be longer than max cast distance.  Oh, did I mention he fired it off at least twice in fifteen seconds?  Ow!Anyway, I was curious of other folks out there have any similar horror stories.  I haven't gotten owned that bad since I clicked the wrong choice when talking to Naggy.  I suppose it'd be nice to hear success stories too, if any have some!<div></div>

Is it possible the area spawns two different dragons?  We had a group of guildies team up and take out the dragon in the spot you mentioned last week, no major problems mentioned. <div></div>

Not sure, although I would assume it's the same fellow.Maybe there's some trick to making him stop AEing?  Or maybe it's suddenly cake at level 70?  Dunno...that's why I was curious about others' experiences! <span>:smileyhappy:</span><div></div>

soo... been wonderin what this guy drops, any clue? <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />and i'd just suggest pullin him down the stairs and jousting <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> and any kind of group/single target stun immunes for your healers dureing the AE <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

As a former resident of Nek, I can imagine you uber Disso folks just rolled with the AE and stomped him?  No special strat or anything?  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Kinda disappointing to hear that his loot was so bad...<div></div>

<div></div><div></div>We got the server first on BB for him, after many attemps we figured out the strat. The AE is NASTY, but its preventable, you just need to figure out how to stop it. Dont wanna give too much info & make figuring it out cake, work for it & be satisfied rather than be handed a win. It IS preventable tho, so just stick to it & figure it out. Also got legendary which was sad, however we got a nice pair of scout only haste legs which were really nice.
