Why, for the love of all that's holy, did you stick ROCKS in the waterfall on TT?  So I just spent 10 minutes in this place, died 4 times, and logged back out, I was so frustrated.1st time followed the curve of the waterfall down.  splat.  rocks at the bottom of the waterfall.Revive. 2nd time, went foward a little (to the SE).  Splat.  other rock.Revive. 3rd time, went to the left to avoid them.  Splat.  Landed in water too shallow for safety.Revive. 4th time, Went to the left and back a little, to give me more room.  Splat. didn't go far enough, hit the other rock.I just lost 12 gold or so from repairs and 1.2% in xp debt because of those [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] rocks.I hate the rocks.-Stormwolf.<div></div>

Get better at jumping? Even with the rocks, it's VERY easy to drop into the LARGE open non-rock area.<div></div>

For an absolute challenge, try grouping with a Mystic and having them cast Water Spirit just before you jump. I challenge anyone to survive even if they do hit water :p<div></div>

I died the first few times that I tried it, but it was more from forgetting to turn off water spirit than anything else.Make sure you jump in first-person mode and it actually isn't very hard to do.Does anyone know: if someone in a group that has a mystic who has cast Water Spirit jumps while the mystic does not, do they get out of range of the Water Spirit spell before they hit the bottom?<div></div>

<div></div><p> While I agree asking the developers to remove rocks is not gonna happen...that jump is frustrating for some.</p><p>I have to admit, I've tried and tried that waterfall jump with several different characters and never made it once.</p><p>I must be such the [Removed for Content] or am making some mistake I can't see or understand:smileyvery-happy:</p><p>I have a decent computer and lags not much of a problem at all.  Must be at 50-80 deaths over several characters. I do use first person view and have tried jumping from the falls rocks, the plank and lots of spots in between.</p><p>One thing it could be is I don't use the aswd keys to move. I'm a left handed mouser and use the arrow keys,pg up/down or mouse movement, for all movement been used to that way for years <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>oh well, guess that waterfall jumps not gonna happen for me. Every few weeks I'll throw myself over the falls and try again..but not anytime soon, I've given up for the month <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>~everqimp never made the fall once</p>

>>>I have to admit, I've tried and tried that waterfall jump with several different characters and never made it once.<<<In case it helps, here is what I do:1.  Turn off Water Spirit.2.  Change to first person view.3. Go to the middle of the waterfall and walk straight off the cliff.4.  Use pagedown (or is it pageup?) to roll my view so I am staring straight down.5.  Tap the down arrow a couple of times (no more than three) as I drop to keep from overshooting the pool.I will usually land between the rocks in the middle and the far edge of the pool. NOTE: It doesn't seem to matter if I am on my horse or not.<div></div>

It really isnt that hard to dodge them, just go as close to the edge as you can look directly down and walk off the edge, you get plenty of time to manouvre yourself to the safe spot.

<div></div>I always use 3rd person and put the camera above me so I'm looking straight down at my head.  Then I just run and jump off and hope I can correct it enough to hit some water.  I've missed a couple of times, but that's what makes it fun for me.  Sometimes I wait until I've already jumped to move the camera, and then try to aim my character, just for the hell of it. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<div></div><div>For those of you that can't hit the water you should of played a Bruiser.  My bruiser friend hit dry land his first 3 jumps and didn't die (he has safefall maxed out)!  It's hard to believe people can't figure out how to hit the water every time by now</div>

<div></div><div>Your character can illogically move in different directions while in the air, so even if you overshoot it by an incredible amount you can just hold back and make it into the water... so how in the hell can anyone miss the water while they're trying?</div><div> </div><div>When I read about the jump before I got KoS I figured it'd be a fall about three times as long and have much less water, so it'd actually be somewhat challenging.  When I got to KoS and blindly jumped off and managed to move around while falling and land in the water I was quite disappointed by how incredibly easy it was to make it.</div>

A lot of it for me is lag.  I jump, I see where I need to go, I tap my 'forward' or 'backward' key...and nothing happens.  Then just before I hit, I suddenly shift too far one way or the other and there isn't time to compensate.Doesn't happen all the time, but with no instancing on the really crowded servers, this jump can be a nightmare.<div></div>

<div></div>I've jumped 50+ times down that fall and only died once, because I got cocky and tried to go off on a horse, it was hard to see what was below me so I clipped a rock and died.
