<div></div><div><div>Hello all,</div><div> </div><div>As spokesman for a guild on the Antonia Bayle server with a fully furnished, active Hall (4 Bayle Court), I'd like to make an official request for developers to consider doing something that will decrease the amount of lag in homes.  We experience lag in furnished Suites as well, so it is not just an issue in large houses.  I do recognize that there are lag issues in several parts of the game, and that homes will naturally take a lower priority over adventuring areas such as the Tenebrous Tangle when it comes to lag improvement, but the amount of resources dedicated to homes does need to be improved if possible. </div><div> </div><div>Much in-game time and coin is dedicated to these areas, as are countless hours of roleplaying for many of us.  It seems that a house instance, regardless of the number of items it contains, could be rendered more efficiently on the server end to make this more enjoyable for everyone, so any help would be appreciated.</div><div> </div><div>Players, if you are also experiencing lag in your home or guild hall and would like to see it improved, please support this thread with your comments in a constructive manner.</div><div> </div><div>Yours in service,</div><div> </div><div><a target="_blank" href="http://www.shadowslayers.com/">www.shadowslayers.com</a></div><div> </div><div><font size="2">61 Templar / 63 Provisioner</font></div></div>

There are some simple steps you can take to try and lower the performance hit in some homes. My guild, i put a limit of only 1 pet in the house, and making sure that any item with particles were kept to a minimum. The worst culprets are the flaming pets, too much movement & particles.<div></div>

<div></div><div>Oh god, i walk into some people's houses, and they have 8 fiery voar pets walking around and another 8 flaming boar heads on the wall.  Then they have a god [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] zoo(lots of pets).  Then they have about 8 zillion other particle effect items on.  I would have less lag playing this game on ultra high settings on a commodore 64 with its tape belts ripped out.</div><div> </div><div>Adjusting light settings can help.</div>
