<img src="http://www.eidolon-ab.org/e107_plugins/autogallery/Gallery/What_on_earth.jpg">Just appears daft to bring servers on a sunday night, and no one checked in if ppl were in raid zones (esp. Fountain of Life). There was actually 2 raids in 2 seperate instances, both us (Eidolon) and Bekwen. And now this has just created a whole CS issue of replacing eyes and the complex issue this will lead too.I know this might have been a major issue and needed to be brought down quick. But the last message we got was a 5 min message and they dropped in 3 mins 20 seconds. If we'd of had 60s more we would have been finished totally and no eye's would need replacing. All in all, we had a fun night, so losing a night raiding success was countered by that at least.

Might want to black out your raid setup.<div></div>
If they had to bring the servers down to fix something, it was probably much more important then one or two raids.<div></div>

That sucks, sorry to hear it. They only took down SS and PoF on our server last night. Wonder how big THAT exploit was to have them bring it down at that hour.Good luck with the "Customer Service"<div></div>

<div>Sorry, but the game doesn't revolve around your guild and your lame little raid. If something needs to be fixed for <em>everyone</em>, then it better be fixed.</div>

And the server was running perfectly before they brought it down. a tad on the laggy side zoning, but not 10% as bad as it has been without them bringing them down.</span><div></div>

<div></div><p>The fact remains that the servers were brought down with VERY little warning, leaving people who were in difficult to enter instances out of luck when the servers restarted.</p><p>3 minutes and 20 seconds is not enough warning to bring the servers down, let alone 5 minutes.</p>

And that 1:40 early they dropped the server after the 5 minute warning was the difference fo my group on getting dowth the Eye in poets (and it's master chest) Given anouth 1:40. hell, given another :40 we would have had him down. (He was at 20% when the servers dropped 100 seconds early)</span><div></div>

<div></div><div>yah that sucked bad heh, at least we got our eyes back about 20 minutes after the servers came back up, no problems at all, so thnx GMs!</div><div>but yah, it was nice, Servers are coming down in 5 minutes, *unplugs AB server about a minute later*</div><div>yay!</div><div>(and to anyone who is sayin suck it up and get over it, they must not have any idea what it takes to even be able to zone into this instance, its not just a lockout, you gotta get a raid force to farm [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] ring events to get eyes to have access to zone in, once you zone in, the eyes go bye bye, sooo its not just any other instance coming down, its a real PITA if the eyes arent returned)</div><p>Message Edited by HomeChicken on <span class="date_text">01-10-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:38 PM</span></p>

You may not run into that issue, but it would be quite critical to fix it.Honestly though, you have NO idea why they brought the servers down, so who are you to say it wasn't important?</span><div></div>

<div></div><p>While the devs are checking to see if there are any raids going on they should check to see if I am online and delay bringing the servers down until I log off.</p><p>The servers come down when they do. *shrug*</p><p> </p><p>Part of MMO life.</p>
