Hey all, I run an EQ2 fansite and we have a couple of new maps: <a href="http://www.gamergod.com/images/22/44/22a53b4e721a26e0329b1fc1baa29e44.jpg" target=_blank>Isle of Refuge</a> and <a href="http://www.gamergod.com/images/8a/e7/8a34cda0da5c8a55d9641c3e83c9bde7.jpg" target=_blank>Sinking Sands</a>, and if you could give some feedback on them it would be great <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

Why do something that somebody else has already done far better?

<DIV>Looks like MrWolfie and Stoney left their manners at the door.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I use the EQ2Maps interface. However, sometimes you would like another map option because:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. You want to see the zone map  before you get to the zone itself.</DIV> <DIV>2. You want to read locatons/points of interest without having to mouseover all the little colored dots</DIV> <DIV>3. You may want to review a map without being on your computer and logged into the game.</DIV> <DIV>4. You may want a hardcopy of a map by your side so you don't have to open a map window while you navigate a dangerous area.</DIV> <DIV>5. You appreciate the artistry that goes into some of the maps not made in the mapping project.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I realize it may be too much effort to actually encourage someone that works outside the box you define for yourself, so here's some advice: if you don't have something constructive to say, don't say anything at all.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To the OP, thank you for sharing your mapmaking.</DIV>

Wargod, very nice maps. I for one think that we need more of those kinds of maps, that show how the creatures in the zone are laid out. The other map sites/UI do not provide this.
