Are there any rules about posting new items/images that are not on live yet?

In the past when there's been something that they prefer we keep quiet, they tell us explicity ("please don't discuss this on public bords / other servers / etc., we want it to be a surprise").<div></div>

Since Test is an openly -listed, public server, on which any paying EQ2 subscriber can make and play characters at will, I don't see how anything on it can be considered to be secret.I agree that sometimes we have been asked to keep quet about certain things - I seem to remember that, for example, when the dragon portals for KoS were first built on Test, we were asked not to spread the details around - but really, as anyone can play here or join the /Test channel from any server, the point seems moot.Of course, I can't actually say I have read the Test EULA recently...

<P>Not to mention, with everyone and thier mothers being able to log into the test server chat channel, any links posted in there are immediately out to the general public, Gawd how I wish we were totally seperated chat wise. </P> <P>So many times when an update comes through, nothing but spam chat from soandso from such and such server posting about info, whats the rewards, where does it start, how hard is it. and when we choose not to tell them for fear of NDA possibilities, thats when we get the eletist snob names.</P> <P>PS. Thanks Moorgard...that helps. Thanks everyone for your tips.  I guess I had a "go by the rules" day and forgot anyone can log in Test.
