After the recent change to Death March, it's aggro had been adjusted so that it was an effective emergency AE taunt for SKs.  Over the past several days, it appears as if the aggro profile has been reverted back to it's previous state - ie. it seems to be doing minimal additional aggro (I haven't pulled aggro back on a DM cast at all in the past several days, whereas before it would usually turn the mobs in the encounter back to me)The new Death March was a critical fix for a number of issues that SKs had with aggro (Namely: not being able to do enough of it).  It allowed us to at least be competitive with the Guardians, Berserkers and Paladins (Amends) on the aggro front.  It finally allowed us to perform one of the three primary tanking roles at top end efficiency.  (Those being dps, defense, and hate generation - all of which have SKs showing very poorly compared to Zerkers, and sometime Guards - DM at least let us compete on one level.  The upcoming changes will serve to lessen the difference in defensive capabilities a little, but they will still be there)Now I can understand if it was decided that DM was the wrong skill to address SK hate generation issues with, but I'm hoping that this wasn't an intentional change indicating a belief that SK aggro was somehow overpowered - it wasn't.  With Death March, a skill on a 3 minute timer, I feel that I was more or less competitive with a good zerker on the aggro front.  A zerker would consistently be able to hold multiple encounter aggro better than I could, but Death March allowed me to have a situational ability to control this sort of aggro very well. The original DM change was a VERY good one - please, please revert it back to that.  SK's need the aggro generation ability it gave us!<div></div>

After a lot of testing (Thanks Kella and Vyviel!) I'm not sure that DM aggro has changed - but it is rather complicated to figure out.Death march generates a fixed amount of hate (~1750-2000ish) PER engaged, group-buffable ally.  This *included* pets that benefit from group buffs.Since group size, group makeup, and simply the decision of a player to have a certain type of pet out or not can cause a drastic shift in the aggro profile of the skills, there's a good chance that this is behind the confusion.<div></div>
