We have activated Nights of the Dead on the Test server to get some more eyeballs to check it out and yell at us. :smileyvery-happy: You guys and gals will probably be sick of it by the time we activate it on Live. Please makes sure to /bug and /feedback everything you run into. ThanksThere are a couple of known issues with fixes that haven't made it to the server yet though.

The Haunted Mansion door is currently only letting in players who did the event last year. The fix for this should hit the server on Friday.

Ponchy doesn't appear to be giving everyone the raid quest correctly to everyone. We are working on the fix right now.

The new candles currently can't be purchased from the Gigglegibber Scalper. The fix for this should hit the server on Friday

We have also updated the rewards from last year.

The Scarecrow raid has updated rewards and loot drops.

The trick or treating highest rewards are new.

The Haunted house has new rewards and should not be an annoying pixel hunt. :smileyvery-happy:

Haunted house was great, hehe. I had a few suggestions but I /feedbacked those in game.(At the end I actually squeaked out loud, causing confusion in my house, haha.)

I know it's been /bugged in game, but I thought I'd mention it here since there's this handy little thread. In the haunted house, sometimes if you fail the dance part the first time, it'll let you speak to the Lady to restart and the dance music will restart, but the choreographers give you no instructions. The little dead ghosts never pop back up, and hailing the Lady again restarts the music again, but still not instructions. When that happens, you're just stuck until you zone out of the house and restart the instance, and hope you don't fail the dance next time.

In that sitauation, nothing you do makes it start going again, you just have to zone and try the whole thing again. I heard reports of it happening to other people the same way it did me on /test.

That sounds suspiciously like the issues we had with playing the pots at Frostfell last year, where some of the script(s) would get out of synch and you couldn't get it to behave again without zoning or logging.

Not sure if it's a bug or intended, but none of the little rats/spiders running around inside the Haunted House were aggro to me this year, where they were last year. Only the large rat, the large spider and the zombies up in the attic were inherently aggro.

Also, I was getting the on-screen popup about the bartender tip jar downstairs in the basement (in the kids room) as well as when I was upstairs near the bartender's area. I /bugged that in-game, but later thought it might be intended as a way to make people think to look on the table for the coin. Since it's the same message though, it may cause confusion - I initially just thought it was triggering because I was below the bartender's stand, and the message was ignoring my Y coordinates.

Kudos to the graphic art team I enjoyed the Haunted House experience and especially the rewards. Love the candles/bone trophy. And the arrow head is hilarious! My daughter did have a little problem with the dance. But you said it's fixed by now so it's good.

I am still working on getting the highest score on the Treat O' Trick... Apparently it ain't easy hehe.

Tried the Haunted House instance. Much better overall than last year.

Only ended up with one quark ... the first time trying the dance, I failed miserably. Seems like once out of sync with the calls and your out of the ballgame. Also on that first try and another, I had to exit the instance to get the dance part to give me another try. This entails repeating all the steps leading up to this point ... a bummer and annoyance. On the 3rd failed, it finally gave me an option to retry. I am not sure what can be done to make sure the retry is always given, as I could not figure out where it had flubbed the first 2 times. Likewise not sure if anything can be done to continue with the parts of the quest compled prior to exiting being there when you are forced to exit, being complete when returning. Releys on a bit of memory to repeat the steps as the quest does not reset from the beginning upon return.

Only other comment I have is for the last part on the 3rd floor, giving folks some inkling what they may need to do to cleanse the house of the undesired spirit. I am undecided if the book is better closer to the warding stone, or might be better as one comes up the stairs, with a weee bit more info to lead even new players toward the desired outcome. This still seemed to be one of the areas new players to the haunted house were asking a lot about... What are they suppose to be doing?

Dye

Heck, I wouldnt even mind having a scarecrow for the house, either a stationary one or one that moves around. or maybe even a pumpkin patch.
