<DIV>Over the last couple of days, I have been having problems with lag. Frequently having my picture freeze for 2-3 seconds at a time, sometimes more. It seems to be happening in all zones - city zones, outdoor zones, very small instanced zones (e.g. Tear Grifter's Maj'Dul Residence). For example, I click on a book in my inventory to place it in my room, count to three before the animation of the book appears and can be moved; or I double click to harvest and the node disappears 2 seconds (with harvesting tools) with no animation for harvesting. It's pretty debilitating in combat, since I go into combat and end up standing there looking mean without being able to bring off any of my spells or heals (I am a fury) for 3 seconds of no animation, then suddenly go from green to red or dead. In short, between the lag and the interrupts, my character is becoming frustrating and nearly unplayable. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Has anything changed in the last few days? Because I have not changed my settings and I am not noticing any problems with the internet connection. Normally, my computer and DSL connection can do much, much better than what I am getting now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit: By the way, the effect is not really a slide show. Things seem to run smooth for a few minutes and then stop for several seconds at random intervals.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Heattanu on <span class=date_text>09-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:44 AM</span>

I've been getting the same thing. I actually had to stop crafting for a little while, because everything would just "freeze" and when it came back, I would have lost durability. A guildmate of mine was experiencing the same thing with tradeskilling at the same time, and my husband was freezing while trying to harvest. This was on Monday (Labor Day), so I attributed it to high traffic and went on. It did clear up after a bit, but I have experienced occasional lag spikes, such as Heattanu describes, since then. This is not something I've had before, and relogging does not really seem to help much.<div></div>
