<DIV>You know those neat guild raids that you unlocked as your guild leveled up? The ones hardly anyone does apparently because they were never fixed after being scaled. Well, I am here to ask you to fix them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>TNK got together last night to try out the guild raids. A bit confusing as it seems none of us could get the same quest. We are fairly smart folk though and figured out the system before our actual raid time. It is then that we ran into:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Problem 1: Seems the entire raid/group has to be in the same zone as the quest giver in order to be sent to the instance. Qeynos Harbor or (wherever the freeport one is). Umm...we have members from both cities. Told our 27 necro to run to Antonica, find the entrance to Peat Bog, find the zone to Vermins Snye, Down Below then Qeynos harbor. Just to go on a guild raid. She logged off for the night.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Problem 2: There were 6 of us. We mentored to 37 with our lowest group member a 30. The group mobs were perfect. 37 to 38. The epics were 38 and 39. Huh? There is an epic x3 in this group instance. The epic x2 we could take with 6. Ok, we died, a lot.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Problem 3: We got absolutely NO guild status for anything. Not completing the quest objective, none for killing the epics. Nada, zip, zero.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Problem 4: We did another raid afterward. This time, we mentored to 30. Group mobs 31 to 33. Check. Epics, 38 and 39. Huh? Epics forgot to scale.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Overall, I give the guild raids a 3 out of 10. For not getting any guild status AND getting low 20's loot. Epics not scaling to level. Getting your evil, or good counterparts, depending on which guy hails, into a city zone; not worth the effort.</DIV>

Your wish is our command. <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span>The city guild raids have been completely redone, by a dev other than me (whos board name I dont remember). They will be coming with the next update to the test server. The loot is being promoted to the test server as soon as possible, its checked in but due to an untimely power outage yesterday it didn't make it into the next push. The raids are designed for guilds just starting out with raiding to teach some of the basics of raiding, such as add management and aoe attacks. Feel free to use this thread for feedback on the raids and the loot for them.<div></div>

<P>Whoohoo! Thanks guys. We are using the guild raids for tuning our team and teaching folk that never raided before how to set up quickly and efficiently. Luckily, we got tons of practice on some of the epics that wiped us. =)</P> <P>We have been raiding every saturday and we will be testing out the new and improved guild raids soon as they hit test. <P>One thing that occured to me.</P> <P>I am not sure how the final will be in terms of how tough these mobs are. Most of the testing we did was with mentored characters, most of them lvl 60+ mentoring to 24, 27, 30. We had all the combat arts, spells, taunts, heals, of our true level at our disposal. Even the testing we did with venos included wizzys with Ice Comet, Wardens with Protecting Grove, Tanks with all their taunts even though we were mentored to 24 on one raid, 55 on another.</P> <P> </P>

I know that the two healers in the main tank group were 24 and 32 ('cause I was one of 'em, hehe). But yes, I agree that the high-level mentored tank may give a misleading impression of how doable a zone is.</div>

<P>City raids completely broken now.</P> <P>9 of us from TNK met up tonight, Saturday, to do a raid. We tried the one person get a quest and zone us in. Didnt work, Everyone that didnt have a quest got a 'Doesnt meet requirements' message.</P> <P>Ok, everyone hail and get the quest. One person got one quest, 2 people got another quest, and 6 people got the same quest. Those without the same quest, couldnt zone in.</P> <P>Tried deleting and hailing to see if we could somehow get the same quest..no go.</P> <P>There seems to be no rhyme or reason to the quests we could get. No matter what, 6 got the same quest, 2 got the same quest and I got one completely different.</P> <P>*Edit to add additional info*</P> <P>Gonna use names so this doesnt get confusing:</P> <P>Sunrayn, Rapture, Kris, Tallenor had done Avatars of jealosy together.
