I've made a set of ash and briarwood harvesting tools. The ash is a 0.5 second reduction, so I thought it was merely a perception reason I wasn't seeing any reduction. Briarwood states 1.0 seconds reduction, so I made a set for my Magar and ran off to try them.I think it wasn't a perception thing. 1 second's difference should be noticeable, and he seems to be taking just as long to harvest as he was before. I haven't had the time to do a side-by-side comparison of one node-type buffed and another not, but I suspect the results would be the same.If you want to test it out yourself, find me in the test channel and I'll make you a briarwood tool (level 30+ adventurer to use). In fact, if you just want one to have one, send me 4 briarwood and 3 feyiron per tool, I won't charge for fuel or postage since they're still decent experience.I have a million characters I play on a rotating basis, so just holler in /test and I'll reply as soon as I can. All of my toons are Fhir Rhuen tagged, so that's another way to find me.
Message Edited by Frens on 05-23-2006 05:11 PM
