Lately on test server ther has been an unusual lag. That is what everyone says, but I noticed something a bit different. When autofollowing a character if I am in first person view (mousewheel scrolled all the way in ala EQ1) Autofollow works just fine. When in third person view and autofollowing is terrible. On live in this mode if I turn arround and head the other way the following character tends to make a 180 and follows normaly (provided graphis speed is up to the task). On test the character heads away and makes a very large circle back the other way. If the lead person stops, the follower makes giant circles around and around the lead character. I am not realy noticing a latency between the lead character moving and the following character following (at least not more than a half a second or so). It seems like the issue is more of station keeping instead of latency.

Picknose

ah ha!! I have this same issue..if i am on auto follow on my hubby and he stops I run circles around him also, it's a bit of a pain sometimes if he stops to fight and sometimes I have a hard time stopping the auto follow lol.

I was surprised Sunday night when I got a program shutdown and kicked to desktop. THat was with 2 gigs of memory and at the Extreme performance in the Temple of Scale. Definately some major memory leaks out there on the Test server at the moment.

Dye
