Chat window missing on login

.....Just on my dirge.I have to hit the / key for it to reappear. I reset the Ui defualts in options, and the window doesnt reappear until I hit /Maybe I goobered something somehow and it isn't a bug, but just thought I would report it.<div></div>

I have a toon on live with the exact same problem.  I tried resetting the ui, deleting and re-downloading all temp files, even trying a custom UI, but nothing fixed it.  I sumbitted a /petition for it once upon a time, but they didn't know either.<div></div>

This just started happening on my Templar. The only thing I can think of, is I accidently hit the "X" to close the window, and ever since, it's simply not been there when I log in. Like Evadne, I have to hit "/". I haven't gotten around to redoing my UI and everything yet, but it seems that something so simple as accidently closing a window shouldn't cause such problems.<div></div>

have had the same problem with trin for a while, have had a few people get irritated at me because they start typing away at me as soon as i log in, and unless im //////// as soon as the adding character to zone line comes up.. and i wait until my character appears in zone, or i forget to hit the / key and start doing something, like looking at the broker, when i finally DO hit the / key to bring up the chat window, its absolutly blank.. not even the text telling me that this channel is /1 and this channel is /2 etc.<div></div>

<div></div><p>I had that problem awhile back on Zaan.  I fixed it by coping my UI from one of my other toons over to zaan.  IF you need more of an explanation you'll need to /tell Ducky.  = )</p>
