View Full Version : Bonemire, mounts and other broken things on Test...

These have been /bugged but I'd like to get them posted as well and if anyone has other bugs since the patch, please add to this. We haven't been able to get into bonemire since last thursday's patch. When one zones into the bonemire via any portal, you zone into a huge pit of black nothingness. You can't move and you are stuck unless you have a call spell available such as CoQ, CoO, etc. I noted that no matter what one's location is in Bonemire, the player's orientation is stuck at 180.00, 0.00, 0.00Mounts are just not working. There is no forward animation on any of the horses and no speed increase that the mount is suppose to give. You just 'go through the motions' while riding forward and the player rocks back and forth but the mount is stationary in its animations. However you can ride backwards if you miss the clippity-clop in the meantime <span><span>:smileytongue:Links in chat are buggy, you can click on it once, but any subsequent attempts to click on an item that has been linked in chat don't work.</span></span><div></div>

<div></div><p>The Sinking Sands docks carpet seems to be getting stuck again since the evening's (3/6) patch, but only if heading for Twin Tears. Carpet pops out, you hop on, but don't go anywhere. Other destinations have been working fine for me.</p><p>Sinking Sands Onerock Isle carpet gives you a nice little dance when trying to return to the docks though. Hop on the carpet, it gets stuck. You bank around a bit, in place - not going anywhere - bury parts of yourself and the carpet into the beach, turn again, and eventually get free and fly off. <div></div> hmm, was having the same problem with the ts griffon when i was playing around with fury forms with sephiro in antonica last night.. I can hail the griffon tamer.. ride to point, but my form does not reinstate, tho the icon stays grey and the buff appears to still stay active,.. I had to hit the griffon 4-5 times before i found a spot<ran around the top of the tower to see if launching from different points helped> that let me get back to qeynos docks<edit> oh,.. and I'm still getting extra <Tab 1> chat tabs spawnin every time seph or igram send a server tell..and on the extra tab note.. trin currenly has 12 tabs because of that, and the [<][>] keys on the chat window doesn't seeto be working. they stay greyed out, and i have to resize the window, spreading it horizontal to see all the tabs i have opened.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Kaknya on <span class="date_text">03-07-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:49 PM</span></p>

<div></div>I was also noticing alot of stalling on the clouds in KoS..you get on...it turns you around like you are moving, but you are still on the launch pad. Eventually it takes off and sends you to your destination, but it seems like it has a really slow time of winding up to get you going. Also Toralu has been experiencing black lines across her screen when she logs in. Only on a couple of characters and only on EQ2. If she camps out and restarts the game, it seems to work fine after that.

<div></div>Horses run animation still messed up, even with the patch Thurs night (3/16). This IS going to get fixed, right?

<div></div><div></div> you could always hit the walk button<span>:smileyhappy:</span> animations work fine while walking.. ive noticed on my ghost horsie that if i am walking on ice or around alot of ice layers, my horse appears to fall back behind layer 1 or 2 of the graphics, instead of being overlayed. also, you glide when you run, but if you hit another graphics layer, ie. mountain or other stopping item, rocks,poles, trees, etc. in the past i thought this was reversed, but your horse will start making the running noise and start moving.and on normal outside layers, the horse seems to be almost a smidgon above the ground layer. if the horse animation is dependent on graphics layer collision....<div></div><p><span class="time_text"></span></p><p>Message Edited by Kaknya on <span class="date_text">03-20-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:58 AM</span></p>

Horse are fixed.. YAYbut swarm pets are borked, rather than lasting the 30 seconds as in the spell description, its shortened to 3 seconds <span>:smileysurprised:</span><div></div>

<div></div><p>Not just swarm pets. The mystic/defiler AA dog dog does the same thing. Summon and a heartbeat later...poof. Same with the warlock AA book pet.</p><p>Permanent has taken on a whole new meaning</p>
