(This has already been reported to Seph, but posting it here in as much detail as possible to get a more permanent record)  I'm reporting this for Kella, as she had to leave to go to work.Kella today lost her Freeport citizenship, and got set to -50,000 Freeport faction.  It happened at some point between getting T7 writs in Sanctum of the Scaleborn for all four factions in Freeport, and the conclusion of a dungeon crawl in Sanctum during which she finished all the mob kills for 2 of the four writs (Sentinal Reconnaissance for Freeport Militia, and Retrieving Scaleborn Sentinel Parts for Arcane Scientists).   She got four updates for one other writ (The one that requires Scaleborn Sentries, but I can't check the name on it right now) but otherwise didn't progress in the other two writs. When she tried to call back to freeport, her call went through the casting animations, but then took her nowhere.  She zoned out to Tenebrous, at which point she checked her faction screen and found that she was now at -50k faction for both Freeport and Qeynos.Pondscum went through this exact same sequence of events with Kella, with the exact same set of writs - the only difference being that he was guilded.   Due to this, our best guess at this point is that one of the aforementioned T7 writs will depatrate you if you do it unguilded.Once the server is back up, I'm going to deguild Pond and do those two writs again to see if I can duplicate the bug.<div></div>

Further testing:It's certainly not as simple as being unguilded and doing T7 writs. I've deguilded and done the following as Pondscum:1.  Freeport Militia Writ on its own. - Everything was fine2. Arcane Scientist's Writ on its own - Everything was gine3. Freeport Militia and Arcane Scientist Writ at the same time. - Everything was fine.I'm going to try to get writs that require the exact same number of kills when I get home tonight. (They're variable in the number of kills they require)Something caused Kella to lose all of her FP faction this afternoon, and I'm trying everything that I can think of that might have differentiated her actions this afternoon from mine.  Any other ideas here?<div></div>

<div></div>Yeah, this is fun.  Apparently the entire contents of my 2-room EFP status house are now in my overflow slot.  *sigh*  Thank goodness for Maj'Dul and max ally with Blades, or I'd be the most screwed that anyone ever was. Can't figure out what did it, but hope that when you guys track it down, you let me know what it was, heh.  In the meantime... la la la la la, no citizenship at level 60, la la la la la.EDIT: I've added comments to the /petition and all, but for posterity's sake, or something: I tried to buy a house in Maj'Dul in order to store the ~200 items that are in my overflow inventory.  I bought the license, found the house, and then was told that I could not purchase it because I 'already own a house of this type.' Now, despite having a 100% empty 14-slot bag, I can't harvest anything, accept anything in the mail, loot anything, or take anything in trade, because Your Inventory is Full!  So... I'm more or less a totally gimped homeless character who can't even go craft anymore, because I can't use my bags.Looking forward to either CS or QA sorting this one out.<div></div><p>Message Edited by EtoilePB on <span class="date_text">02-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:44 AM</span></p>

a temp fix, find a way to get to your FP house to relinquish it or create alts to house your items temporary, the no-trade items you'll have to store somewhere in your bank <span>:smileyindifferent:</span><div></div>

Kella you have the most unbelievable luck at finding the weirdest bugs imaginable.  It has a plus side, you discovered it....now if only QA and the devs can solve the riddle as to how it happened....and get you fixed. *hugs*~Eva<div></div>

Hmmm.In addition to being de-citizened... I may have inadvertently duped the entire contents of my two-room house.Kella is carrying around a big pile of things in overflow -- so many, that we've not yet been able to figure out how many, so we just assumed that it was the contents of Kella's house, since everything in the overflow slot has been a house item.Well, I took Nimari into Kella's house today just fine.  And the items are all there, down to Teacup the Vibrant Carniverous Plant.  (No, I don't know why I named the plant Teacup... but at least it's not Audrey.)  I can't be sure that Kella's carrying around all the contents of her house, mind, but it certainly seems that way.  At the very least, she's carrying around a couple of things that are still in the house. If you guys ever figure out how to duplicate this one, I'd <b>definitely</b> be curious as to how, hehe.<div></div>

<div>I had something similar happen on the beta server.  You are carrying around the entire contents of your shared bank most likely.  Since you are no longer a citizen, you have no "evil side" shared bank, so it got dumped in your inventory.</div><div> </div><div>Best to have Pond make an alt on his account and trade off what you can to that toon for now.  If you do relenquish your FP home, you'll need space for all those contents as well =/</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>BTW, did you have logs on?  I'd search it for "Citizens of Freeport" if so and see what that shows.</div>

<div></div><p>Yeah, the really strange thing here is that literally the only thing that occurred between Kella getting writs and getting decitizened was Seph summoning her to Sanctum for a dungeon crawl and the dungeon crawl itself (Assuming she had to have been a citizen while getting the writs, or the guards would have attacked her).  This basically means that whenever it happened, it happened while she was doing something wholly and completely unrelated to Freeport citizenship (Unless it had something to do with the writs, but QA hasn't been able to duplicate this by doing writs unguilded, nor has Pond - and in any case, writs shouldn't be affecting CITY faction.)</p>

<div></div><p>Yup, I was hoping this was as simple as taking the writs and trying it unguilded but it appears more complicated.</p><p>Kella thanks for your patience on this matter.</p><p>Sephiro</p>

CS came through; Kella's just back where she should be now.  YAY!Unfortunately, now it's Huscar's turn...<div></div>
