Two big things.1.) Everyone, universally, hates the change to ring buffs. An Imbued Ruby Ring of STR that has a 1% chance to proc a minor STR buff on a combat art? Hardly a legendary piece of equipment! Would rather go back to re-casting every 25 minutes than this.2.) On attacking guards: they exhibit some funny behaviors. Sephiro came over to check them out for a bit, but basically, Greyed-out guards apparently see-stealth, then go into their aggro stance, but don't actually attack (of course not, they're grey). Encounters sometimes break as soon as they're engaged (Charles the ^^^ dog did this). Although even though he did apparently we re-engaged him properly, because he dropped a chest. Then there's the bit where grey encounters randomly con green mid-fight (a 24 ^^ guard vs a 56 Assassin, for example). Also, guard-factioned mobs (the Qeynos Guard Knight-Captains, for example, and presumably also the Freeport Militia) spot you, make angry faces at you, and then don't do anything -- they stay as "neutral white" NPCs, even though they're supposedly about to throw you out. It's a bit confusing.I think guards should obey the same mob rules as anything else -- more like Maj'Dul NPCs for preference -- but I also think that they should be higher level. In 90% of Qeynos I only encountered one or two guards even near level 50, and most conned grey. The ones that conned green were easily wiped out by either a 56 Assassin solo or a 47 SK/56 assn duo. I know that this mechanic is going to be on the PvP servers dealing with City PvP and all, but since people are going to be leveling to 70 -- and presumably, in a year's time, to 80 or 90 and higher -- on those servers too, having most guards at 40 or below is a total joke.On the up side, it's about time I finally started Ghoulbane! *grin*

Message Edited by EtoilePB on 02-09-200612:55 AM

Agreed on the rings, some of my characters have wis rings for the resist values but a melee can't cast a benificial spell to trigger the buff. and i wouldnt have shelled out over 2 plat for a pearl ring if i knew this was coming i would have kept my dropped ring i had. and for the longest time my conjuror used agi rings to help with defense while soloing, and she doesnt have combat arts to trigger the buffs.

Just give us straight values on the rings, whether it be from buff or its inherit in the ring from the start. these are not just one class items, not just priests use wis, not just mages use int, not just fighters use str or agi etc...
