Okay.  The recent change to group dynamics, where a higher-level group member no longer "greys out" the group, seems to have some quirks in it.Here's the scenario: a duo of 46 Shadowknight and 56 Assassin are in Cazic-Thule, seeing what kind of trouble they can get into. The 46 SK reports that all the mobs at the entrance are both grey and aggro to him.  They're just straight grey to the 56 Assn -- as one might expect. However, then our intrepid duo comes across mobs that are high enough to con green to the Assassin.  Only the kicker?  They're not conning aggro at all (they are to the SK), even though they really, really should be.It didn't cause any major disasters for us -- stealth for the win! -- but it certainly made for a lot of confusion being shouted back and forth across our living room.<div></div>

Doesnt the con color relate to mob lvl vs group average? If this is the case, you can have mobs that con green to you while in group, but would be grey to you if you were solo.  Under the new system, if something would con grey to you solo, it will not agro you ever.I will agree that the new system is weird, and hard to understand what is going on.<div></div>

oh and currently as of 2 days ago,.. when your in a group with higher levels.. was 51, to some 60's running thru lavastorm, and lvl 46/47's were conning grey to me, but were agro.. the new change was to make creatures agro to independent members and not to the group as a whole, unless the group in turn attacks.<div></div> of course it does give an incentive for groups to mentor thier lowest member. then everything will con the same for all members.. but kills the ability of having a lvl 60 in a group grey out and run lower members around to to heritages, as well as the j boot runs in tiers above nek.. which is what alot of people will probably be upset about, tho they will probably not come out and say that and think of some other excuse<div></div><p>Message Edited by Kaknya on <span class="date_text">02-06-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:09 PM</span></p>

<div></div><div></div><div>56 guard, 50 warden in SS.</div><div> </div><div>desert madmen lvl 45 conned non-aggro green to me (56) and aggro green/blue to wife (50)</div><div> </div><div>This is a very nice way to do the con system.  Under the old plan, those mobs would have conned grey to me and aggro grey to wife.  Much easier to see which mobs are going to attack her moving through an area.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>*edit*  I disagree on the mentoring thing Kak.  If you are within the levels to group without getting a 'to low to group with this person' message, you shouldnt have to mentor.  If a person is outside the grouping lvl range, that is a different ball of wax.</div><p>Message Edited by Sunrayn on <span class="date_text">02-06-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:42 AM</span></p>
