View Full Version : pre-patch mail might be fixed, but it's also gone by now
<div>Subject says it all - you guys sure took your time and while my char's don't have the >you got mail< icon up anymore they also do NOT have the pages and pages of mails with stacks of raws anymore they had before mail got screwed up. Those mails seem to just have expired while being not accessible. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>But what really got me was the answer to my petition : A describtion of how to file a bug report and the pointer that CSRs can't and won't help with Test Server issues. So: which is it : You got some CSRs to help out on Test (as our QAs said) or you don't. A clarification would be very nice.</div><div> </div><div>Thanks.</div><div> </div><div>Purr~</div>

<div></div>dont think it was fixed at all. I still have the icon, no mail. The clock is ticking, getting closer to losing stacks of fuel, worts and raws.
<div></div><p>Well, maybe they just have expired in my case then, fix or not. Would still like to know if petitions will be worthwhile at all or if we are back to : don't even try ... or the answer will make you pull your fur out.</p><p>Purr~</p>

<div></div><div></div><div>I have to say that the CSA's treat us Test players like garbage sometimes, and frankly I getting pretty upset about it. I had and STILL have an issue with logging into Test Server for 2 months now. Half the time Gherig and Katianna dont stay ingame longer then 2 min. Igram and Sephiro have tried to help as much as they can, but every petition I send has gone unanswered or you CSA blows me off with some canned "You suck you play on Test no help from us" reply.</div><div> </div><div>So, Scott Hartsman, which is it? When you told us about Test and convinced us to permanently move here you said it wasnt going to be like EQ1 Test, where we are treat like lepers by CSA in EQ1 Test. Which is it? You going to allow is CSA and petition service here or are we relegated to some CSA from Pakistan or India telling to tough luck you play on Test.</div><div> </div><div>If we are suppose to get CSA support then you need to get ahold of your CSA manager and set him straight and fix this increasingly annoying situation.</div><p>Message Edited by Aethn on <span class="date_text">02-04-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:09 AM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Aethn on <span class="date_text">02-04-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:10 AM</span></p>
I think it's time for a character wipe.<div></div>
<div></div><div>I would like to get back to topic and really appreciate an answer. This thread was never meant as a rant.</div><div> </div><div>Purr~</div>

<div></div><div></div><p>Purr,</p><p>I dont think that we have timed mails anymore. Meaning that things wont dissapear if not picked up in a certain amount of time. At least that is what I thought was said by the devs the last time we had a mail fiasco. I might be wrong. Either way its not helping your case. I wish there was something I could do other than offer suggestions of petitions and talking to Seph or Igram.</p><p>Maybe I can help replace what all you lost. I can at least offer my help..</p><p> </p><p>Message Edited by Kadurm on <span class="date_text">02-04-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:32 PM</span></p>
<div></div><p>I wish I could believe it, Cimee. Fact is: the >unread mail< icon on Amanda and two other chars of mine is gone - and having had under a week left on those stacks it went away right at the time those mails would have expired. Seph didn't have any idea about the mail-fix-patch when I asked him a few days ago.</p><p>That being said, I'll be one happy kitty if they are still there whenever SoE patches that problem.</p><p>And I sure hope it was the last time I got such an unqualified answer from a CSR. I'm used to having no CS available. Did fine on EQ1 Test for over 5 years without them. But telling us to petition because CS is supposed to help out on Test, only to then find out that they never really meant that, it is kind of ... discouraging.</p><p>I sure appreciate your offer, Cimee, but harvesting is all but exciting, I wouldn't want to put anybody through that. Esp. not with the upcomming changes to TSing and T7 with KoS .-)</p><p>Purr~</p>
