<div>I didn't see it listed in the notes, but I was very supprised to see how much t1/t2 scholar crafting changed.</div><div> </div><div>no inks</div><div> </div><div>The recepies just have the respective raws...even the advanced recepies (which use coral directly)</div><div> </div><div>I'm curious what the resoning behind this was.  On one hand it does make this area much easier to craft, be it gives a very false impression of how that class operates once you reach lvl 20.</div><div> </div><div>Also, the t2 advanced spells take only coral, not silver.</div><div> </div><div>Also not sure why the fighter spells have to use a different rare (alkaline loam) from everyone else.</div>

<div></div><font color="#ffff00"><p><span>I'll make sure that this gets entered into the update notes.  We are going to be switching to a no-sub combine system as the current number of sub-combines it takes to actually make a usable item takes longer than we want.  The reasoning behind the change of what is required to make a rare item for spells is to diversify the rare components a little more. The highest sold tradeskill rare components are the gem and precious metal for the sole reason of making spells.  This hurts jewelers making accessories which is not intended.  The loams come off of nodes that drop normal metal to put it more in line with the precious metal/gem node.  All of the </span><span>KoS</span><span> recipes will be in the no sub combine style.  As well we will be retroactively refitting the rest of the recipes in the game to follow this system during the </span><span>KoS</span><span> beta.  As we were removing class/archetype from the game in update 19 we went forward with the system on the new recipes for the spell scrolls for these new spells/combat arts.</span></p></font>

<div></div><p>The first thought I had on reading your reply was 'Woohoo, no more making padding'  The second thought I had was 'What the hell? No more padding?'</p><p>I am kind of seesawing on this new crafting system.  One thing I would ask since my armorer now has to pack around the all the raws at one time to make a piece of armor is, make the raws, liquids, everything, stack to 100 like the fuel.</p><p>Sunrayn</p>

<div></div><p>All in all, i'm for this change.  My only reservations are that for crafting professions with low discovery xp (armorers primarily...but others) a large amount of xp is from making subs, so finished goods xp will need to be adjusted somewhat.</p><p>Stacking of finished goods will be an issue also, but i'm not sure what to suggest at this point.</p><p>Is there a timetable for the other teir tradeskill changes? part of this LU or later?</p><p>Thanks for taking the time to comment here <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div></div><div></div><p>PLEASE i beg of you when you make these changes Do not forget the Provisioners.  I have noticed that you have already changed the T1 T2 recipies for Sages and all and the rest of the other classes are still being worked.  I realize for provisooners that each sub combine usually results in a useable food or drink but the biggest majority of the people that request our services want the 5 hour food and drink. </p><p>Example: Mental Core Breach - Duration 5 Hrs 3 min</p><p>Pear Cider; Pear Wine, Clove Fizzlepop and Kindling</p><p> </p><p>Process is as Follows:</p><p>Make Pear Juice (40 Min Drink) = Kindling, Liquid, Raw Pear</p><p>Make Pear Wine (1 Hr Drink) = Pear Juice, Sugar, Yeast, Kindling</p><p>Make Pear Cider (40 Min Drink) = Raw Pear, Yeast, Kindling</p><p>Refine Clove = Liquid, Clove, Kindling</p><p>Make Clove Fizzlepop (1 Hr Drink) = refined Clove, Liquid, Kindling</p><p>Make Final Product</p><p> </p><p>Please change the Recipie to something like this: 2 Raw Pears, 3 Liquid, 2 Yeast, 1 Clove, 3 liquid and 5 Kindling (basically put all the raws needed in the recipie and eliminate the subcombine.</p><p>Message Edited by Jshail on <span class="date_text">01-18-2006</span><span class="time_text">06:30 AM</span></p>

<div></div><p>MY only cornern is for the rare inks that I HAVE ALREADY MADE.    As it stands now previously made T1 and T2 rare/treasured ink is worthless.  There needs to be some kind of work around for those that have turned there rares into ink before the patch.  If there is no workaround I would expect many CS tickets in order for ppl to get their rares back. </p><p> </p><p>I am currently debating if i should go ahead and use up all of my rare ink now. </p><p> </p><p> </p>

<div>I think this is wonderful. Not only will this open up tradeskilling for the casual player, but it makes it a whole lot more fun. I hope this new system gets spread to all avenues of crafting, like provisioning.</div><div> </div><div>*claps*</div><div> </div><div>*thumbs up*</div><div> </div><div>Less Boredom. More Fun.</div><div>=)</div><div> </div><div>Blacksabbath</div>
