<DIV>Was attempting to do the "Destruction in the Desert" T6 writ from North Freeport. This quest calls for me to find and destroy a number of Anuk Mal Incense burners in the deserts of Sinking Sands. I could see the items just fine, but when I tried to interact with them, all I could get was a right click "examine" and upon examining them it was telling me "You needed at least 1 skill in mystical destruction to harvest the item, you currently have 289 skill in mystical destruction." and also was giving the message "It was trivial for you to harvest a blah blah whatever"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This does not seem to be only this quest that it happens on. almost any of them that call for you to find and destroy a certain item is doing this. Also the one that calls for you to find skulls of the SulDal infiltrators dont seem to be working as intended,as we could not find any of the skulls after killing many of the infiltrators and there were no ground spawns either.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Might want to have a look into the mechanics of these and see if anything I have noted is worth the trouble to fix.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<div></div><div></div><div></div>Copied from one of my other posts. There is a new NPC for all FP factions, except in Academy of Arcane Science (or the four of us couldn't find him). There about four different writs per type (solo or group) for each NPC, but they have the same name (the Militia's are all named 'Death to Enemies of Lucan!', Dismal Rage's 'Destruction in the Desert', etc.) Makes getting a group writ a bit difficult because you have to get the writ, compare it to what the rest of your group has, and delete until you all have the same one (can't just hail and decline like old). Writs that require you to destroy items do not work. They are not attackable or double clickable and right clicking only lets you examine which says 'You need a 1 in Mystical Destruction to harvest, you have 263. It was trivial for you to harvest ____.' It was stated that the group writs give 2x faction gain over solo writs. The one writ we did (killing steelslave maulers for Seafury) gave us the same amount as solo writs. The Freeport Militia writ giver would only give us one or the other, while the others would give us both solo and group writs. The Dismal Rage writgiver would said "Finish what you started" when I went to go get writs from him, but I didn't have any. I had a solo one from the Militia, and a group and solo one from Seafury. Once I deleted those I was able to get one from the Dismal Rage, and then go back and get the ones I just deleted. Other notes: After doing the Steelslave mauler quest, it looks like the one requiring skulls from Sul'Dal infilitrators was supposed to be an autoupdate. Either way, it wasn't doing anything. <div></div><p>Message Edited by HanktheDwarf on <span class=date_text>11-24-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:14 AM</span>

<P>Couple of issues from the Qeynos side. </P> <P>Qeynos Protection for Everyone from the qeynos guard.</P> <P>One of these is killing 20 Sul'Dal Bladefuries. Killing the mobs does not give any updates. </P> <P>Another is killing Sandcrawler Grunts. Once you have completed the 20 grunts the captain will not recieve the task only give you a new writ. </P> <P>In all of theses in the quest journal the captain is refered to as her but the NPC is male. Also in the text the first bullet for the quest says I must complete the task the Celestial Watch has set me to, which is incorect as I was given the quest by the qeynos guards.</P> <P>Finaly I am wondering if the faction rewards are set correctly. The only solo writ I have been able to complete to this point yeilded 3405 personal status where as a tier 5 writ yeilded 5k something. Seems a bit off despite being a solo writ as it is for mobs that should actualy present a challenge to upper level characters.</P> <P>Labb Accident</P> <P><Children of War></P>

Just did a Seafury writ last night. Same issues as other people have, mainly. The status seems really low. It's something like 5000 SP for doing the old Everfrost writs that I ground 45-49 on, so why did I get 4100 for trekking out across the Sinking Sands? I don't like the complete change in format, the overlapping NPCs, the total lack of matching, and all that. Either the previous 40 levels worth of writs should aslo change, or the T6 writ giver (writ givers, soon? Will there be 55+ writs?) should match the previous tiers. It's frustrating and jarring when you've learned the game's patterns, and are willing to abide by them, and then all of a sudden everything's completely different at 50 because it was pasted on after the fact. And it would definitely be nice if not all writs had the same name. <div></div>
