This is a warning to everyone. If you customize the soga appearance of your character you will lose all the items in the shared slots of your bank. ACROSS ALL YOUR CHARACTERS! We double checked it. You will lose your items.

update, sorta....

I did SOGA alterations on Beltin, and loaded the game up with Lupus. I still had access to all my shared bank, so it looks like (perhaps) the shared bank issues happen if you load up the character that has been saved with SOGA changes.

hope this helps some too

lupus L'Zul

Fhir Rhueni

test server

ignore me.... one was evil one was good . . . . doh!

Message Edited by Micheal on 11-04-2005 02:57 PM

Lupus, was one evil and one good? Looks like it's alignment specific. Meaning if you change the appearance on a qeynos toon, then you lose your qeynos shared bank and vise versa.

gah sorry, I meant to write all characters on that alignment. And yeah we tested it with gbutt's characters. First he customized Emilio (good character) and his shared slot disappeared when he returned to the game. So he logged in and checked his shared slot on Gbutt. One adept in the shared slot. He logged to char select and customized Gbutt's soga appearance. He logged back in with Gbutt and the adept was gone. He switched to a non soga character (a ratonga) and the adept was still missing. He placed an accumulation of plasma into the shared bank of the evil character. He logged out and created a new evil character. He logged the new dark elf into IoR and checked the shared bank. Plasma was there. He logged out and customized the soga of the new character. Logged back in plasma was gone. Don't know how much more clear I can be =/

Basically the problem is that your shared bank items got assigned to a neutral shared bank. I'm going to move everyone's shared bank items that are marked as neutral to their good shared bank.

Interesting.Stick a neutral bank vendor in Maj'Dul That'd be cool. Then we could share stuff between our alts on both sides muhhaha.

It was my evil characters that had their shared bank deleted, but it was only some fish. My good characters shared bank was untouched and much more important to me.

Thanks for taking care of the disappeared items.

be safe, leave your shared good side bank empty for a bit
