No skillups

<DIV>My little rat sage is stuck.  His scribing skill is 104/131.  I have not gotten a skill up in 11 app4 spell completions.  No combination of buffs, no completion of a combine, nothing will budge it.  It moved slowly before this too, maybe one skillup in 3 or 4 combines.  Now it has come to a halt.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I can no longer make app4 spells equal to my level as I have the skill of a level 20 and I am level 26</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Probably a redundant question, but you are using the highest counters for your level I take it?  The way I receive skill-ups is to spam the counters constantly, never mind the resulting quality of item.  So for you, it would be the counters that say (Sage 20) when you examine them in your knowledge book.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Strangely I have noticed that since two patches ago I am receiving skill-ups for using grey counters too, so I thought it had been addressed to allow you to use any you like.  Sorry to hear your experience is not the same.</DIV>

Mostly I am using the dura buffs, they arent grey yet.  Trying to slow progress down as much as possible to get the most ticks out of each combine.  I use 2 dura buffs each round, and occasionally mix in a progress.  My armorer, alchie, tailor and woodworker have no problems at all, it is just this sage character.  Of course, the sage is the only non-woodelf I have and we all know woodelves rule  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<P>THose Dura buffs are level 10.  Use the level 20 buffs - progress.  I use the lower buffs for the first bar, then shift to a combo of the 2 which do not use power.  SHould get skill ups them.  If waiting for durability buffs, you don't get a new set of them till level 30</P> <P> Dye</P> <P> </P>
