A Cautionary Tale

<DIV>Ok here is my story.</DIV> <DIV>I didnt want to bring it out into the public forum, but I just seem to be banging my head against a solid wall.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I  have been on test for about 4 months now. I love the server and I love the community. I was nearly forced to quit the game by the barrenness of my old server and by the amazingly nasty people that seemed to be the only ones left.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>About a month  ago I tried to get a transfer through the character transfer service and contacted them saying there must be a mistake, since test was missing from their list, the reply said that there were no transfers available. So I started talking to the community and some of the Devs about bringing my favorite two characters to test. Our community liason said it was quite simple and that characters were being prescreened to be sure that only testers would be coming into the server. So i made my formal application. I sent the community liason all my information, and at his recommendation a week later, sent it to Blackguard as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Then I waited.......Then that community liason left....A week later I decided to try broach the subject with the new community liason, he was super freindly and helpfull and said he would look into it and again Email Blackguard on my behalf....Then that community liason left....Two weeks after that I very sheepishly approached the new community liason and asked if there was anything that could be done to further my cause, and get this supposedly very simply procedure taken care of. He was very nice, and very helpfull and apologized for my frustration. He said he would email Blackguard on my behalf and see if he couldnt get something done....A week later I approached him again, and he told me that he cannot do anything without Blackguard signing off on it. By my count, Blackguard has seen my name 5 times in separate emails and has not to my knowledge had the courtesy to reply to a single on of them. This is not a flame post, it is simply a plea, and a warning perhaps...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do need to thank the other QA's who have been involved for their patience and time. I know they have transfered ppl before that were full time testers.  It's been several months since they did it.  I know it's possible to do. <div></div>

<P>There could be various reasons as to you not recieving a reply or a positive action at this time. One could be that Blackguard is just too lazy to reply and or it got lost in the shuffle. Another one to think about is that they might be putting any and all transfers on hold until they get enough of them together to make one big move of all applicants. We've seen that before too. You might possibly try sendind BG a pm on the forums here or go to the source directly and see what that pushes if anything. These guys are way busy with all the fixes and such so dont let it get ya down if you get over looked...heck we had no adult supervision on the server for who knows how long.</P>

I'd think if Blackguards email is fairly know he would get 100s of emails a day, and that’s not even including the imitation Rolex watches, [Removed for Content], stock quotes and body part enlargement spam emails.Between the phone and email at work it's hell to get anything done.
