<DIV>Was noticing last night in the Spirits of the Lost run, tht alot of classes seem to be overriding each other and cancelling each other out. Not sure how much this is effecting other healers..please post here your findings.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Templars vrs Inquisitors : Both of our quick single target reactives are cancelling each other out...If I cast stinging pennance on someone, a templar can cast thier opposing one an override mine...tested this both in group and across raid out of group..same on both accounts. these were tested between master2 versions as well and against an adept 3 version.(the adept 3 can override a master2)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can we please get someone to address this issue..makes it VERY hard on any sort of raid to do any healing.</DIV>

From what I'm hearing, Mystics and Defilers are not mixing either...heck, just get one of each healing class and the raid is fine...no wait..you currently need 20 healers, 1 tank, and 3 DPS for a full raid just to get past the first few seconds of the mobs attack :smileytongue:

From what I read, it's the way they wanted it. I really hope it changes. Might as well only have 3 healing classes not 6. <div></div>

Looks like they addressed this tonight. We'll soon put it to the test! :smileyvery-happy:

Direct heals should now stack regardless of class. As far as specialty heals, a single target can only have one of each type active at one time. Two priests of the same class would probably want to coordinate who will be applying specialty heals.

That's cool, But what bout Mystic and Defiler wards? They should stack. I understand that a defiler and defiler won't stack. But you think since mystic and defiler are 2 different classes they should stack. <div></div>

<P>If I recall correctly, the different classes have a fair difference in efficency of direct heals. If raid situations are reduced to direct heals only (except for the cleric, shaman, druid assigned to special heals) this makes some preists more desirable than other types. I don't know how much this has changed with the revamp, but weren't Cleric (Temp and Inquis) direct heals pretty weak? </P> <P>I'm just a little suprised that raid healers have to switch from their spiffy, class defining spells, and use regular heals (that their class may be no good at). </P>

<DIV>Not to mention, now the game becomes a JOB instead of something to pass the time and have FUN with. The reactive heals are iffy....they have a duration, but that's not how long they last and they have a different recast among the different classes. So, they're supposed to coordinate? Coordinate what exactly?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Templar1 says to raid: Casting reactive on %t! Duration is 30 seconds!! But, eh...who knows when it wears off? NEXT HEALER SOMETIME BETWEEN NOW AND 30 SECONDS PLEASE!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Inquisitor1 says to raid: Casting Reactive on %t! Duration is 40 seconds MAYBE! NEXT HEALER IN 40 SECONDISH</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mystic1 says to raid: Well...the tanks are dead...we couldn't predict when the Inquisitor's reactive was worn off due to hits. Pack up and let's try again tommorow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So...they coordinated the reactives there....add in that they have to coordinate direct healing with long recast times and wards. It's too much work. I don't play a healer, but I do understand why they're quitting.</DIV>

<P>Okies so specialty heals wont stack...no use arguing with the corporate big dogs on this..after all, Im just a lowly customer. What could I possibly know. </P> <P> Can we then look into this from a different angle and a little deeper? Say I as an Inquisitor cast my master 2 reactive...then in the same raid..a lower lvl Templar cast their reactive...BUT their reactive is only at adept 3...should this lower spell from a lower lvl character override my higher skill and higher mastery??...I would not think so..but they are...yes a lvl 50 templar with an adept 1 reactive can override my Master 2 reactive with me being at lvl 53.</P> <P>Some sort of spell mastery and or lvl check needs to be running if these are not going to be stackable spells. Maybe a message saying "this spell would not take effect" and therefore not use power on a useless casting. At least then we can tell when the previous spell has worn off in a way other than watching the tanks Health go from green to red in a blink. </P> <P>With the way they are running the reactives across characters now...we will have to go back and assign a group of healers just for reactives and another group just for direct heals....</P> <P>That is also going to mean that all healers now need to respec to be more reactive or direct heal focused...so we have to now determine who is reactive and get them to respec all of their abilities and master spells toward the reactive side of things and do the same with the direct healers...</P> <P>On second thought...that sounds way too much like a full time job..I have one of those already and I dont want another one...I think I will just stick to duoing and small groups..at least there I know I can play the healer that I need to be.</P> <P> </P> <P>Message Edited by Kadurm on <SPAN class=date_text>10-10-2005</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>09:25 PM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Kadurm on <span class=date_text>10-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:29 PM</span>
