Two nights in a row, the server is suddenly locked. Did I miss a warning? Is there a reason we don't get a warning these days? ~Eva <div></div>

<DIV>You know what is starting to get to me - if a live server goes down the chat banner gets changed almost immediately. When test goes down, we have to ask them to change it. Test was up for 3 hours today and I did not know it because the banner was saying test was down - the banner never changed on Sunday.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Add in that for a live outage you get a stream of apologies from the staff and an explanation of what happened. With test, I get the feeling that we just don't matter. Gets tiring to be honest. While we play on test and expect the downtime, it would be nice to be treated like paying customers once in a while.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Jaly </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I asked Feldman about this a little earlier, before tonight's first crash. He said last night was a crash, not someone working on the server. He apologized that nobody restarted it like they are supposed to, and said he was going to work on making sure that things were handled better in the future. We did not talk about the night before last. Feldman was around for the first two (!) crashes so far this evening. FWIW, they started about 2 or 3 hours than the previous two nights. Anyhow, that is good luck, because he was on during the crashes. So, QA is already on the problem. Edowen <div></div>

<P>From what I understand, server locked is once the server comes up from a crash...gives the devs a chance to make sure things are ok before people log in. It seems the instances this weekend were real crashes, and not maintainence or something else. There was a comment in game that the dev team is aware of the stability issue. Someones going to have fun (not) on Monday trying to sort this out...stability issues are tough to troubleshoot.</P>
