<DIV>I just thought I would post here Re: the idea of a /movelog. The server polled seemed fairly open to the idea of a /movelog yesterday when the subject came up in chat. I cant express how happy I would be if I could move my 2 characters from live over. I had even contacted customer support about their pay to move option after settling into test only to find out that it is unavailable to the citizens of test. I am not referring to copied characters, only moved characters, and anyone applying would need to click through a big red banner or something saying they understand the move is permanent, due to the nature of the testing environment. I was just hoping to get this out there to be seen by more than the people who participated on the idea in chat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Minnah Mousze of Test</DIV> <DIV>Tempestaria Furypaws of Oasis</DIV> <DIV>Wyndaria Spiritchaser of Oasis</DIV>

I think that copies would be a bad idea for the 'viability' of the server, but those that have chosen to make test their home since the last /movelog it'd be great if those folks could have to option of moving to test lock stock and barell.... anyway.....</P> <P> </P> <P>Lupus L'Zuli of Test</P> <P>Leonin Furypaws of Oasis</P> <P>Ursin Furrypaws of Oasis</P>

<DIV>The possibility of copying for long-term testers has been broached before (at least on this private forum). BG was very helpful about it, and I know some people (Irgul was one I think) were moved/copied recently.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, here's the link, <A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tpriv&message.id=1812" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tpriv&message.id=1812</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's dropped down a few pages now, so don't know if the chance has passed you by, but as you're now here to stay it can't hurt to ask. :smileywink:</DIV>

<P>Yes, at one point people who are already long-term/established residents of Test were offered the chance to have their toons from Live moved or copied here. That's how Irgul (who was 44 at the time) got here from Mistmoore. I am not sure if the offer is still open, but one could always ask.</P> <P>More generally, I agree that we could benefit if the general EQ2 player population was given the opportunity to /movelog (transfer... not copy) their toons to Test. If people are willing to commit to Test, that means they are likely to be good day-to-day testers (not here just for major new features or changes) and willing to participate in our server's community. Doing a free, one-way-no-return /movelog open to all EQ2 players (except Exchange servers, probably) once every three or six months would be super.</P> <P>Edowen</P>

I was also lucky enough to have my old characters from Live copied to Test as I have made Test my home along with my husband who had a couple characters copied over too. We had sent an email after seeing the above mentioned thread. :smileyhappy: If there are live players out there that don't want to start over but are willing to move completely i agree there should be a movelog set up for that sometime again :smileywink:
