I think I may have broken Test Server

I am sure it wasn't you.  The exact same thing happened last night at around the same time.  The server suddenly kicked me to character select with no warning.  Character select showed Test as being locked, not down.  The GM in the "General" chat room was unaware of what the problem was or any ETA.  That was last night; tonight I didn't bother to ask, the events were so similar. While bugs can be related to time of day, that is unusual  Therefore it seems likely that these unannounced outages were due to someone at SoE doing some work on the server without taking a minute to let us testers know that the system was going to be unavailable for a while.  Please, SoE, we take the time to hunt down bugs and write up reports that are as useful as we can make them; in return it would be really nice if you guys could try to remember to warn us when you need to tinker with the server. <P>I am not sure how long Test was kept locked.  It was long enough last night and the night before that eventually I decided to give up and go to bed.  (I am on the east coast).  If memory serves, I waited more than an hour on Friday night before I threw in the towel.</P> <P>Edowen</P>

Could be a coincidence but the timing is pretty accurate</div><hr></blockquote> What's REALLY REALLY weird is that I was doing the exact same thing when the server went down at 12:45 am EST on 09/25 (so late Saturday night that it was Sunday morning).  I was at the mailbox in the Willow Wood sending a pair od shoulders for Kella to a Qeynos-bsaed guildmate, and when I clicked "Send" it all went down exactly as you describe. I didn't think anything of it -- I thought it was all a coincidence of the timing -- but now I'm starting to wonder if it's related.</span><div></div>
