<DIV>I rewad the notes and checked the spell.. and it will supposedly do 1875-5625 for me now. EXCEPT, in reality during a 10 minute fight against a green mob just now, the most it ever hit for was 2200 damage, just barely over the listed minimum. Ball of Flames and Paralyze seem to be consistantly hitting for slightly more than they did in the past... not enough to make up for the huge decrease in my class defining spell (Ice Comet) though.</DIV>

<P>All wizard/warlock dps spells were increased in max damage (10%) and decreased in min damage (50%). This gives a greater chance for lower dps.</P> <P>I have been successful using piercing iciclces as a debuff. Incresed my dps 10% overall.</P> <P> </P>

<P>I was using a pristine Imbued Hex Doll for the debuff, since I only have App 4 of the debuff / dot, the Hex Doll is a larger debuff for me, but it didn't seem to help.</P> <P>The biggest IC I got to day... testing against level 40 (ten levels below me) single down arrow green mobs, was 4600. The worst was 1875 and the average was still around 2200ish. To me that is a huge decrease in my IC spell. Maybe it is all somewhat random, but seems to be weighed heavilly towards the low end from what I can see and having my class defining spell become crap doesn't sit well with me at all.</P> <P>If IC is going to be so "random", it needs to have the recast timer cut in half at the very least. It has a huge recast timer and is no longer a spell you can count on to deliver that killing blow.</P>

When I saw the new damage range of my IC today, my first thought was "Hmm, so now all my IC casts are going to do 2k damage"....It appears that I was correct. Don't count on it doing more than that...high end of the damage scale has been put in line with the uber rare master chest off the average mob.
