<DIV>The fun factor of playing EQ2 is still hovering around zero after the latest patch, sorry guys. I am level 50, my gear is nice, my spells are great and I am a [Removed for Content]. The green ^^ level 43 wanderer in the tunnel by the zone in, in Lavastorm, was an even fight, we both died at the end of the battle. The green down arrow mobs before the tunnel, resisted my level 50 Ice Comet 100%. That is not fun, level 50 and I can not get past the zone in of a T5 zone, I wonder how bad I am going to get owned when I enter a T6 zone next week... I am not looking forward to it at all.</DIV>

<DIV>Aye. Maybe avoidence is not working as intended? I logged in to see my avoidance doubled. I went out to fight the same mobs I did yesterday and had the same exact result. In general, mobs are hurting too much!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For instance, I tried Blightwhip in Rivervale. Before you say, wait, that is not intended to be soloed, not even if you are 10 levels higher. But I did not intend to win. I intend to have hard time and then run. But watch how he ended my life swiftly in literally one round like this (after a few other hits):</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>383 points of poison dmg.</DIV> <DIV>315 points of poison dmg.</DIV> <DIV>297 points of poison dmg.</DIV> <DIV>1658 points of heat dmg.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All of my damage to this mob was in the 2-digit, very feable.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am level 50 (3 down arrows perhaps). He was level 40 heroic. I have taken Poison resist as my character trait.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Here are my buffed stats:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Health 3686</DIV> <DIV>Poison resist 2318</DIV> <DIV>Heat resist 1920</DIV> <DIV>Mitigation 1621</DIV> <DIV>Avoidance 31.1%</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Is this intended? If it is, you have nailed the coffin of EQ2 in my gaming. </DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Zindicatt on <span class=date_text>09-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:58 PM</span>

<P>My intial parses on avoidance in Splitpaw last night were inconclusive. Overall, it looks a wee bit off. I averaged 35% avoidance vs white mobs. I should have been near 47%. The problem is a small sample - one bad fight can throw it off.</P> <P> </P>

I died 3x, but that was my fault trying to get as much avoidance parse out of every mob.
